skybluesky Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 But, the clip board. The clip board!! Julie from The Love Boat had a clip board. What will you say about her?
skybluesky Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Fair enough. This thread has taken a turn. Not a mention of an actual concert in 19 posts.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Did I mention that I saw Daughtry in concert this past Saturday and flashed my 38 year old boob at his tour bus? That should steer this conversation back to concerts, shouldn't it?
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Good thing for me you have a proclivity for skanks.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 {forbidden word inserted here}-nozzle.
skybluesky Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 ah, songfacts. Come for the random douche talk, stay for the conversations about boobs, Muppets, and skanks.
miamisammy29 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I love boobs, Muppets AND skanks!
skybluesky Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Welcome to the place you've always belonged brother!
edna Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 I missed Patti Smith twice yesterday. She played in front of 600 people, two concerts. I would have gone if I wasn´t so lazy...
RonJonSurfer Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I missed Johnny and Edgar Winter last week and it still pains me..
Earth-Angel Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I was handed tickets to a free gig this weekend, but I think I shall pass them on and let someone else squash and get sweaty in a little venue in SoHo
Kevin Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Got tickets for Elton at the Budokhan ( great accoustics- very unlike the Tokyo Dome ) , Nov.20th . Will report back later .
johnnyguitar Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Saw Alexis on Fire last night at the Brixton Academy. Really rather good.
blind-fitter Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Saw The Duke Spirit at The Cockpit (Leeds) on Sunday night. Not quite as good as I'd hoped, to be honest. They need to work on getting their set-list right. They didn't really warm up and start kicking ass until too late in the set. Enjoyed the support act though, The Creepy Morons (what a terrible name though, eh?!)
RonJonSurfer Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 Here's a show that I can't attend but would like to: Johnny Winter and Rick Derringer Friday, November 23rd Count Basie Theatre On Friday, November 23rd the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ present Johnny Winter and Rick Derringer! Count Basie Theatre 99 Monmouth St.
edna Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Wooow, Winter&Derringer... They were our (me and my friends) heroes in the early seventies...
RonJonSurfer Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I've seen Johnny Winter and Rick Derringer many times, but not for years now. They were some of the best shows I had ever attended.
Jenny Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Well.......we took our daughter to see The Wiggles last Friday. We were in the second row on the side of the stage. She had a great time dancing and got waves and thumbs-up from three of the four guys.
Jenny Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Probably not a long term one for her, but a good one for me and my husband. We got a program that I am going to tape the tickets to and save for her. And of course, we have pictures, so I might make a little album, too.
