AC is nice if you stay on the boardwalk and near the casinos. It will be too cold to swim, but nice enough to walk and enjoy the sea breeze. We are planning a family vacation for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary this August. They didn't want us to spend money and go anywhere we had to fly, so after considering the Jersey shore, the Poconos...everyone's coming to our house. We live 10 minutes from a water park and within a decent drive from so many beautiful places, plus we have a lake and beach right in our neighborhood. It'll be so much fun..thank God we have 5 months to prepare. It'll take me that long to get the house organized

Last day at the supermarket. Not really sad to go, but a bit nervous about new job tomorrow. A couple of people who used to work there have already given me some subtle warnings. I'm just trying to tell myself that everyone's experience is different and if it's that terrible, I will give myself six months and look for something else. In the meantime, just enjoy the learning experience and having some money in my pocket

Hubby and I don't celebrate, and I had to work, but we still had a nice dinner together as a family and I gave my daughter lots of chocolate.

I saw "The Martian" this weekend. Awesome!!!! Loved the mix of humor, drama and science. 9.5/10 "Kung Fu Panda 3". Took my daughter to see this one. I liked it better than #2, which was a little too dark (and boring) for me. This one was more lighthearted and more in the spirit of the original. 8/10
