JackieBlue
OMG! Peaches! We can be BFF!!! Thought I was like the only girl around who loved R&B but yet still have a fondness of all things soft rock and everything else!! Most of my friends just can't relate to me if I break out in song and start singing to the top of my lungs: "I woke up in love this morning, I woke up in Looooooove this morning went to sleep with you on my mind"

Shawna
Roger again last night. Gotta love love love that man. It was their new CD release party, and they played almost every song from the new CD, and it's AWESOME. Charlie Daniels, Ted Neeley, and Roger Clyne all in two days' time. I'm spent. *sigh*

phil
Thanks Seeker. It was great to see all those bands come up when they were young and crazy. Sometimes now I go to a "classic" show somewhere and it doesn't feel right.
Lucky
I can't believe I've never visited this thread! After some thought I've realized I've seen a lot more concerts than I even realized. They are: Alice Cooper - 1970 Black Oak Arkansas - 1971 Black Sabbath - 1972 Kiss - 1973 Charlie Daniels - 1973 The Doobie Brothers - 1974 Kansas - 1974 The Allman Brothers - 1975 Bob Seger - 1975 The Allman Brothers - 1979 ZZ Top - 1983 ZZ Top - 1986 The Rolling Stones (Steel Wheels Tour) - 1989 Steve Winwood - 1993 The Rolling Stones (Bridges To Babylon Tour) - 1997 Kenny Wayne Shepard - 1997 The Allman Brothers - 2001 George Thorogood - 2003 John Mellencamp - 2005 John Fogerty - 2005 The Rolling Stones (A Bigger Bang Tour) - 2005 Dave Mason - 2006 Wow. Rayzor
I haven't been to many concerts... you may all begin to laugh at my tiny list! AC/DC (twice) April Wine Foreigner Guns N' Roses (original line-up) KISS (twice) Motley Crue The Tragically Hip the only one that I have any complaints about is the GNR concert. Axl was so hammered he spent the first 2 1/2 songs sitting on the stage riser. Slash was doing some wild stuff on that guitar of his though, so that made up for it. xHeatherx
the only one that I have any complaints about is the GNR concert. Axl was so hammered he spent the first 2 1/2 songs sitting on the stage riser. Slash was doing some wild stuff on that guitar of his though, so that made up for it. When I saw them back in October, he didn't walk off stage and he was sorta sober. Both he and the band sound awesome now. My mom saw the original line up twice. She said that his attitude has improved since then. Honestly, he has grown up a lot. I am jealous that you got to see Slash!
Rayzor
Yeah, most people are jealous when I say I saw Izzy, Slash and Axl on the same stage Good to know Axl finally grew up, although I don't think I'd go see the "new" GNR, anyway
Kevin
Cool ! The Chieftans are coming to town . They're likely a bit old now ( and they do shift their lineup around ) , but it should be a good gig . Never seen 'em before , but I've got a few CD's . Love their collaberation - Whoa ! MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE .... ( all's well : bet that was a 5.5 ! )with Roger Daltry doing " Behind Blue Eyes " ! Update : It was just a 4.6 according to the TV and 60 KM away from here . No worries . Big rattler though - hit like a freight train ! Edited June 2, 2007 by Guest Earthquake news
