Farin
^ Pearl Jam does some pretty cool covers, another one they're doing live regularly is I believe in Miracles (orginally Ramones)

blind-fitter
The Toy Dolls did some great covers. These are two of my favourites, both of which are, I'm convinced, infinitely superior to the originals: "The Final Countdown" "La Vida Loca" This is another good one: whoever said that punk-rockers couldn't play their instruments? "The Devil Went Down To Sc*nthorpe" However, the original was also pretty good, so I'm not about to argue that this is an improvement.

These are two of my favourites, both of which are, I'm convinced, infinitely superior to the originals: "The Final Countdown" "La Vida Loca" but it's also worth a mention that being "infinitely superior" to the original versions of these songs isn't that much of an accomplishment
