Foolonthehill Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I like that one. How about Canadian Musicians/Groups, or Albums By...?
miamisammy29 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 How about Canadian Musicians/Groups...? Are there ten of those?
Lea Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Would Gordon Lightfoot be considered as a group? I really don't know many either except for one or two and I'd have to Google them to be sure No insult intended to our wonderful Canadian SF's
bluesboy Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 To me, he would be considered a musician in the singer / songwriter genre.
Lea Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Yeah I was kidding Bluesy but GL is one of my all time favorite singers. I think I only know maybe 2 groups from Canada It would be a real learning experience for me to do Canadian Musicians/Groups tho. It would require a lot of research on my part Rush is from Canada right?
TheLizard Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Rush is from Canada right? Yup. As is another great power trio, Triumph.
_Laurie_ Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 I love Triumph ...I don't care for Rush that much...good band, but I don't like the lead singer...
Shawna Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 I don't care for Rush that much...good band, but I don't like the lead singer... and I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Who knew?
edna Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Greatest Hits Albums? Cover Albums? Tribute Albums?
edna Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Maybe it´s not very common, you´re right... like "Dylanesque" (Bryan Ferry) or Pattui Smith ("Twelve") or The Blues Brothers...
Levis Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Oh like that... I get it... but they're not very common, you're right. Maybe it could work
Foolonthehill Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Neil Young is also Canadian, but you're right, I guess there wouldn't be 10.
Farin Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Aracde Fire, Crash Test Dummies, Teagan and Sara, Feist, Stars, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain, Gonzales ()...
MindCrime Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 What about special decade albums, or specific genres.
miamisammy29 Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 Neil Young is also Canadian, but you're right, I guess there wouldn't be 10. I WAS just kidding, you know....
