Kevin Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 I can see a difference Yes , indeed - a little more sinister this week ...
Tenacious_Peaches Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Really, Kevin? I think he looks less likely to beat the crap out of someone in the second as opposed to the first.
Kevin Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 True , Peaches - at least he's hiding his crutches this week !
Jenny Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 (edited) I like it, Marc, and yes, there is a difference. It probably feels softer, too, as opposed to that stubbly feel shorter beards have. PS - nice shoes, Jimmy, but can we see the rest of you? Edited August 16, 2006 by Guest
MarcM Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Wow yeah it is growing too! How is the injury? I just got back from the doctor. My fracture is healing nicely, so I do not have to go back for three weeks. Then, the plan is to switch to a walking brace and start physical therapy. In the small world department, the x ray tech at my doctor's office is a musician who has played with some big funk bands, including Parliament. His grandfather, a trumpet player, knew my father in law when they were in the Count Basie Band together in the 60's.
CanAm Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Thanks for all the nice comments. We are getting married September 15th, 2007 up in Madison, WI. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, Moto! You make a lovely couple. So you're getting married in Madison! My wife and I lived there for 3 years back in the late nineties. She taught at the University of Wisconsin. It is a beautiful city. We used to kayak or bike every weekend during the Spring and Summer. The beer at The Angelic brew pub was amazing. Every Friday night after work was beer and brat night. Such fond memories. Our son was born in Madison and we plan to take him and his sister back for a visit in the near future.
MotoRacerX36 Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Cool. Thanks for the info. Megan knows where to go, because she's from there, but now, I can say "Hey, let's go to Angelic Brew Pub" when we're at a loss for things to do.
The Seeker Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Haven't been to this thread in a while...Marc, did you let your beard grow longer still? Oh--have we ever seen a picture of farin, actually?
Farin Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 I'll have you know, that I never post my image online... I'm just too paranoid to do so... but maybe for you I could do an exception or maybe not...
Levis Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Why don't you post different partts of yourself... like shoes, fingernails, strands of hair. Paranoid, you say? May I conduct a few tests on you? They won't hurt... I promise
Farin Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 you know what? I might actually do that...
Levis Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 it is not computerally administrable. Come hither, now... [gleeful hand rubbing].. where are my electrodes?
daslied Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Come hither, now... where are my electrodes? That is the coolest thing anybody has ever said.
The Seeker Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 you know what? I might actually do that... Oh yes, like those...what do you call them? You know when they had those huge pictures of singers or musicians or whatever in teenie magazines, and each week you got a leg or a shoulder and then you could put them all together and put them on your wall...what's the word? You could do something like this for us.
The Seeker Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Something like that, but I think there was a special word for it.
edna Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Farin, just post any picture and say it´s friend of yours. We´ll trust you. And what if you´re ugly?? We love you anways...
Shawna Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 And what if you´re ugly?? the eye of the beholder.... Remember, now, we don't get to compliment one another anymore... we just need to accept that what is gathered here on Songfacts is the conglomeration of the world's most gorgeous creatures, regardless of whom is the beholder of the eye.
Shawna Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Alas, RJ, I don't believe I've ever seen your picture... }
Red Fish Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Bah, cowards! What're you afraid of? Being really really ugly? Well, I guess I can understand that. Carry on!
