Elvish
Disturbed. Really? I thought everyone enjoyed getting "down with the sickness." (What the heck does that even mean?)
Tenacious_Peaches
Disturbed I don't have much of an opinion of them musically, but the lead singer's bottom lip piercing scares the bejesus out of me. I'm always afraid he's going to puncture his chin.
MindCrime
I like Disturbed, The Sickness & Believe were both good, I just can't wait for the next one to come out.

Jugband_Blues
i hate most bands that are big now-a-days. i dont think that talent as necessaryily gone down, as much as the quality that listeners want. most listeners now like half ass music more, so thats what people play. reeder
This thread has been one of my favorites Im gonna have to say my least favorite bands are Simple Plan and Coheed and Cambria i mean thats just pure bad playing and singing and song writing right there. Whats with all of the "hating" on R.E.M. and Smashing Pumpkins? Those are two amazing talented groups. Jets cool too whats up with them being talked on here. MindCrime
all yall that have to hate on Blink 182...are you more talented and if so why haven't you had anything go platinum?...Thats right a**holes! That same argument could be made about any band that's sold over a Million records, what makes this one so special?
CaptainMikeRS
I'll have to add Kerbdog to my list as well now.
Catherine
I have to say that Creed is at the top of the list for me because of Scott Stapp. The guy takes himself way too seriously. Then maybe Scott Stapp (or Bitchy McSnipe, as I call him) is Ed Vedder incarnate! :: In the 1980's one voice in particular made the hair stand up on the back of my neck (worse than Axel's voice, but I like GNR): Tom Keifer. Cinderella was one of the worst bands I'd ever heard!
TheCyberdemon
Here's all that I can think of for now. Good Charolette Avril Levine Ashlee Simpson Pop music from America or Enland, everywhere else rocks. All the rock bands you see on MTV. Anything on MTV come to think of it. The Beatles Pink Floyd Tool All rap; that's not Prodigy or Group X KISS That crappy muzak they play with porno Muzak you hear anywhere Whatever you can hear through people's headphones in public. Done for now....
cpride09
The Beatles Pink Floyd how can you say that?
Danielj
All the two year old punk bands suck.Simple Plan, New Found Glory, Not By Choice posers. First off AVRIL does'nt sound on her albums as she does live, BUT her live voice is amazing. she is'nt a poser she can sing. YOU CRITICIZING CHRISTIAN MUSIC,,, GO TO HELL. NOT THAT YOU NEED ENCOURAGEMENT!!! Blink is good. Creed is very corny. Rap does'nt fall under 'MUSIC' in my books... I HATE THE NEW GUNS N' ROSES. The band with Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven are THE GODS AXL has an amazing voice but what is he doing? Buckethead under the name Guns n' Roses? CHINESE DEMOCRACY IS NOT GUNS N'ROSES!!!!! YOU CATHERIN!!!HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE MAKERS OF "eye of the Tiger"??? SURVIVOR ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! If i say so myself, My how I've grown. I would like to personally apologize to Catherine. Sorry That post reminded me of John longstretch

edna
I can´t stand Genesis. Nor Peter Gabriel, nor Phil Collins. Supertramp. I don´t know why I hate them, I admit Gabriel is very good, but that´s how things are... Did I mention Paul McCartney and Wings? I tried to listen to, but no way, just the two McCartney albums solo (first ones)
marko90
The Strokes, the White Stripes, JET, Sam Roberts, Lloyd Banks, G-Unit, 99% of ALL rap
windy1
oh Jr sweetie, we're gonna have our first fight. Jackson Browne? Love him. George Thorogoode? Love him, cause he's just one of the guys. Now to who I hate: I'm not going to mention all the flash in the pan "new goups". I don't think any have any staying power ie: limp bizkit, korn, creed, linkin park, all the girlie bands. Well I guess I just mentioned them. But going for top world class bands: Rush Queen Paul Mccartney and Wings Doors(for the most part) Gotta go with Catherine, Survivor Van Halen Jethro Tull

Nicknameless
I disagree to some of these but most of them I 100% agree to. I do happen to like Loverboy, Kiss and ZZ Top. One I didn't see anybody mention is green day. What really gets me pissed off is that on lists of top classic rock songs I continusly see Green Day on there. Or when some people at school ar talking and they say they like Classic Rock like green day I fell like punching them in the face. They are not Classic Rock and will never be Classic Rock even in 100 years. I will not let them become Classic Rock. Also screw emos and emo music and new punk bands like already mentioned. Also there is only one "Christian Rock" song I like and that is Spirit In The Sky.
_Laurie_
I'll agree with a couple on Windy's list...I never really could get into Jethro Tull. When I was in my teens I saw Rush four times, I liked them back then, but for some reason I just can't listen to them now.
Incesticide
So many to mention... The usual stuff like Simple Plan, Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, Good Charlotte, Disturbed, Korn, Slipknot, Black Eyed Peas, HIM, James Blunt (even though "he" isn't a band), your standard boy/girl band, Coldplay, all R 'n B and most of the stuff thats shown on MTV... etc etc Actual rock bands I think are somewhat overrated - although I like their stuff - are Velvet Revolver, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Radiohead... Rose
Well... Panic! At the Disco. That band drives me nutts. Fall Out Boy ANY form of hip hop or rap. And any of the mainstream pop, pop punk, rap, hip hop, or rock that is out there today.
