Steel2Velvet
1. Weather With You ~ Crowded House "Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire couldn't conquer the blue sky" 2. Driftwood ~ Travis 3. Teardrop ~ Massive Attack 4. Enjoy the Silence ~ Depeche Mode 5. Connected ~ Stereo MC's 6. Electrolite ~ R.E.M. 7. Road to Nowhere ~ Talking Heads 8. Funky Monks ~ Red Hot Chili Peppers 9. Jamming ~ Bob Marley 10. Deadweight ~ Beck Not surprised that previously I had not exposed myself to 75% of the songs on your list, Martin. Nor that I had never even heard of half the artists on your list. But I was surprised at how, in each song's own way, nearly all borrowed heavily from the period of time when I first started to listen to R&R. SFers are linked in this manner. Thanks for this experience; and in case no one has mentioned it lately, Happy Birthday! (SF is the better for that day having happened.)
