Steel2Velvet
I just typed out a lenghty reply, but I'm not sure if I want to post it right now... I just think we're starting to take things a bit too seriously. I'm not talking about this discussion in particular, just in general. If I was close enough to grab ahold of you, I'd kick your butt for saying that! Edited June 29, 2007 by Guest added laughing faces so no one would think me serious ... I love you guys! Jenny
Wow, both of mine made the Top Ten! That's a first. Both are great songs and I'm glad they both made it. I'm also glad "Sweet Emotion" and "Where It's At" made it.

miamisammy29
Why not? You can count it as anything you want, dude. And I have to celebrate. My songs came in dead last and second-to-last. The Nickelback tune doesn't even count; any song they play sounds exactly like their previous one. So, to me, they are considered nolo factore. TheLizard
I will have to listen to Aerosmith... I never payed much attention to them. I think you'd probably like their 70's material. They may just be a Stones/Yardbirds ripoff, but they're a really good Stones/Yardbirds ripoff.

Lucky
Incredible! Even though I didn't vote for all of them, I love every song on this list. Every last one! This is a fantastic Ten! Congratulations Lucky!!! How's it feel? "Where It's At" snuck in there, huh? S'lovely, but I'm probably done for a while... three weeks in a row! I feel badly that Mindcrime didn't get here in time to fix hiw list, so that his votes would've counted. That's a shame. Edited June 30, 2007 by Guest a real shame. OLD 55
The highlight for me was seeing two Great 50s songs at #5 and #6. I'd better start sorting through my Lista 90s songs to see which two I'll nominate next Ten. BTW, did anyone realise that I've already nominated a 90s #1 ? OLD 55
Yes sure ! Layla - Eric Clapton (Live Acoustic Version), Top Ten #57. I wish I'd kept it for #70 now, but I do have a couple of other nice songs in mind. No heavy Rock - sorry ! Blue Ribbon to Laurie Catch you later - I've been called for Lunch. Smells good. phil
Yeah, for Ride Captain Ride. I do think we need more R&B and soul in our top tens. Because withour 50's R&B and 60's Soul, there is no such thing as The Beatles, Stones, Clapton, etc. We have to remember our roots more.

Layla is from 1970, just because he decided to re-release it as a Live (Unplugged) version doesn't make it a 90s song
