daslied Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Will the Braves please trade Horacio Ramirez and Kyle Davies for Carl Crawford? You can even pay some of Ramirez' salary. I'm cool with that. Emeka Okafor is the coolest name in history. Georgia still sucks.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 I love me some Okafor. He played for UCONN, as I'm sure you know. Mr. Peaches and I were flying back to Georgia from Connecticut a couple of years ago. Emeka boarded at the last minute. Of course he was in 1st class and of course we were not. We kept hitting each other to see who was going to try and sneak past the flight attendants to go talk to him. Neither one of us had the cojones to do it. But at least we can say we flew with Emeka Okafor. He was so tall and so beautiful.
daslied Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 If I ever run into him I'll rip some of his hair out or something for you.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Please do. Or maybe an extraneous body part that won't affect his game. An ear in a crushed velvet box would make a lovely Christmas present.
Steel2Velvet Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 I'm sorry, but if he ain't got nipple, he ain't got game! Just ask Dennis Rodman.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Okay, okay. I'll just take an ear.
Steel2Velvet Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Congratulations to RonJon! His alma mater, Rutgers, defeated Louisville last night. We'll have to see how my Buckeyes do in their next two games, but the possibility of a showdown for college football's national championship featuring the two teams exists.
RonJonSurfer Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Thanks, it still exists, but the pollsters and Bowl folks will never let it happen. RU now has the chance to run the table and end the season 12-0. The should get them into a big time bowl game. We are R-U!!!
Jenny Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 I dont know if I got this right, but: "Rah, rah, Rutgers rah, rah, Rutgers rah, rah, Rutgers Rutgers, rah. Red team upstream Upstream red team Rah, rah, Rutgers Rutgers, rah" Is that right, RonJon?
Uncle Joe Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 It was a very entertaining game, too. WTG Rutgers!!
Steel2Velvet Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 The Dawgs seem to be taking it to #5 Auburn right now. I think that's because of Mags and her undying loyalty.
Crazy Don Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 The Mountaineers rebounded from their loss to Louisville today with a 42-24 win over Cincinnati. I'm eagerly awaiting their December 2 game in Morgantown against Rutgers, provided Rutgers doesn't stumble between now and then. (In 2001, WVU's only Big East win was an 80-7 rout over Rutgers!)
PSYCHOcatholic Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 IRON BOWL COMING UP NEXT WEEKEND!!! AUBURN VS. ALABAMA Biggest Rival Game that i know of in the south! Its gonna be an AWESOME AWESOME AMAZING GAME! Cant Wait...
RonJonSurfer Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 a bad night for RU, but still a great season.
Steel2Velvet Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Yeah, RJ. I thought about you last night. You've got to feel good about the future. I think your coach is a bluechipper! He will do things the right way.
RonJonSurfer Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 All along I thought RU would be 10-2 this year. It may come down to the last game against West Virginia for The Big East title. that will be fun, no matter what happens..
