I decided to face it the facts... Next nomination will be "To love somebody", Bee Gees, in case nobody nominates it first. Then I´d put it in my list, # 1, of course... ;)

OUR FIRST SONGFACTORS CHOICE TOP TEN IS ON PAGE 9

I have my settings set to show 50 posts per page, so it's on page 2 for me.

It's so much easier this way...not as many pages to click, especially when there are lots of new posts..

Thanks Brad ! I completely forgot about different browser settings. Young 55 has his the same. Of course it's alright for you young whippersnappers with good eyesight.

I think I'll be getting bifocals soon.

I'll vote for anything ELO Katie. I'll have to listen to Just What I Needed - probably know it. My "short list" has Drive on it, but I'll keep that for another time.

:)

You'd definitely know 'Just What I Needed' Darryl, it's a great song. I've been doing what you're doing, and tracking down the songs that I haven't heard of before....really liking 'Cowgirl In The Sand' that RonJon recommened last list :D

Yes Katie, it is broadening my music knowledge. I got 2 different versions of that by Neil Young and like them both. It didn't miss by the Ten by much - it got 26 Points.

Steel2Velvet put me onto a good longer version of Crimson And Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells. It has a great guitar solo in the middle. I've never heard it played here in Australia.

Off to see LOST now. Can't miss that ! :)

I'll have to try to acquire that CD ! I still didn't get the 10 minute version of "Cowgirl".

:P

Please keep those nominations for Top Ten #2 coming (2 per person). Good Night All.

Here's our Current Top Ten again !

The radio station I'm listening to is currently playing Men At Work.. What a flashback! So I have to nominate two 80's classics this time:

Men At Work - Overkill

Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning

Woot!

Posted

OOOO, I like Men At Work, too.

Because dear 55 wants some '80's nominations, he can count on me..I still turn the radio up when these come on:

Would I Lie To You - The Eurythmics

Burnin' Up - Madonna
