Tony Baloni
Is Greg Lake the one who sings Trilogy? Did he sing in King Crimson?
Foolonthehill
Yes to both of those. He was a part of King Crimson for their 1969 album "In The Court Of The Crimson King". The group went through a complete line-up change after that, and Lake moved on to form ELP with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer. I like his versatility most. He can sing both mellow ballads and exciting rock 'n' roll very well. I particularly like his contributions to ELP albums: From The Beginning
Tony Baloni
I loved when he sang on Pictures at an Exhibition "From seeds of confusion, illusion, dark blossoms have grown" Their lyricist was amazing, I forget his name, but wasnt he the clarinet player from King Crimson? c_s_1987
Definitely Greg Lake Definitely NOT Tom Waits King Crimson lyricist Pete Sinfield did write some songs for ELP. That's all I know about other KC members contributing to ELP. I think Greg Lake wrote most of their lyrics. Edited March 12, 2008 by Guest
Tony Baloni
Yeah, Pete Sinfield is who I'm thinking of. Haha, Tom Waits was a joke. Although have you ever seen him perform Chocolate Jesus? There's a video of it on youtube. I always viewed him as a joke, but I think I'm actually starting to become a fan of his!
