_Laurie_
Okay...so our clothes dryer died a couple days ago and we bought a new one....Hubby does a load of wash and I took the clothes out of the dryer this morning...He must of had a pen in the pocket of his jeans because the whole inside of the dryer was covered with ink spots all inside of it...and some of the clothes were splattered with it also...(he's lucky it was his clothes and not mine )....And then my father in law freaks out and says "OH NO, did you see the dryer?"...then he says "Well I heard hairspray removes ink stains"...Thank goodness he didn't do that!....I told him he can't use any chemicals inside the dryer, it's FLAMABLE!.... Thanks goodness I was here to stop my father in law from blowing up the house!

Jenny
I feel for you, Laurie. A couple of weeks ago, hubby, kid and I are out of town and get a call from the MIL..."I think I broke the washing machine..." Thankfully, she managed to figure out herself what was wrong, but I was upset for a long time. We have 0 money for a new anything right now. Lea
Did you get it cleaned out Laurie? If not the hairspray idea should work and not combust. It's alcohol based and dries fast but I would still wipe it out with water if you try it. Just spray the hairspray on a light rag and wipe
edna
Oh no kiddin' Edna..I've got more, enough for a whole series! I know!! That' s why I say you should have your show... one chapter per day!

Kevin
Yeah , I broke down and got one. It's the first cell phone I've had in 12 years . I had one before for about a year when they were just phones , but I ended up calling people all the time for no reason other than being bored , and wound up with wicked phone bills , so I dumped it . Calls were pretty pricey back then , and still are in Japan relative to N.America . They have cabalistic pricing here in many fields like beer , gas , etc . edna
I wanted to spend my first holiday week lying on the bed, with the fan on, a drink and a mountain of books by my side. We' re having a very active social life instead... parties, friends, swimming pool, more friends who come from other countries, trips to the mountain, crazy dinners and so. When I tell people my best vacation is home alone with books, they just don' t believe me...
The Seeker
What IS this mountain place you go to all the time? Do you have a house there? Or are there hotels? Or do you just spend the day there? You go there so often it really makes me wonder
