pinkstones
Ahhh, Chicago, that explains it, easy summers, cold as hell winters. I'm a midwesterner too, St Louis. I guess you never spent much time there huh? It's funny the difference a few hundred miles can make, because the heat & humidity in St Louis is as bad as any southern city or state. But I love it!! I've never been to St. Louis. The only reason I tolerate summer is because my birthday is in June. Other than that, if we could go straight from Spring to Fall, I'd be a happy camper. pinkstones
Oh, I don't do camping. I don't go anywhere that doesn't have beds and indoor plumbing.
Shawna
will someone please go over with me again how to get rid of the flashing notebook that says I have a message? I've read the message, and still it stays. :beady:
Farin
in the PT folder open the few most recent PTs (even if they don't have a new message), then refresh
Shawna
nope... I just spent the last hour going through every last one of the 9 pages of PTs I have (I never clean house) and deleting a good 5 pages' worth. Every one of them was opened, peered at, then closed or deleted. I then exited Songfacts, came back in through the Main Page, and the damn little bugger is still up there. *sigh*
pinkstones
I hate the fact that my MLB.TV is screwed up right now and I can't watch the game.
edna
Shawna, it happens to me sometimes too... though I always delete all my pts, I must have some 5 or 6 threads by now... Just click like crazy on the fff (f** flashing folder) and it eventually disappears...

Lucky
now go to your Control Panel, Display Settings and enable "Clear PT Flasher Why did'nt you say it was that easy!!
Farin
because it has its disadvantages too... it clears the flasher once you looked at the list of PTs, not when you read all new ones I actually overlooked or replied quite late to a few because of that
Farin
10, 11, 27, 45, 79, 88 the gigantic lottery jackpot in Italy was cracked - by one single person too so what would you do with 146,9 Million € (209 million $)?
pinkstones
After paying off all our debts (bills, mortgage, cars, my student loans and my sister's), paying for my grandmother's perpetual nursing home care, paying for perpetual care of the gravesites of our family, and putting half in the bank.....take my share and move to NYC. Shawna
so what would you do with 146,9 Million € (209 million $)? maybe a better question for me is, "What wouldn't you do?" Short of anything illegal, I think I'd be game for everything else! I can't even fathom having that much money...
edna
I'd be very happy cause money can' t buy me love but money can pay my bills...
The Seeker
146,9 Million!!! I think at first I wouldn't even spend a lot. Completely irrationally I'd worry about running out of all my money soon
Farin
actually, that's not that irrational - exactly that happens to most winners (okay, with that much money it would probably take quite a while, but you never know)
The Seeker
I think it'd take me five lifetimes to really spend all that.
Farin
I just thought, if you'd put that all on an account with 3% that would give you over 4 million per year in interest or 350000 per month
The Seeker
I couldn't even spend the interest!
