Super Ry 71 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 If I did that, you'd scream and winch out in pain.

The Seeker Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Some people are just too stupid. I was just watching The Seeker on youtube, and one of the comments is someone recommending Rush's version of the song... and the reply to that comment: "What's it called?"
_Laurie_ Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Some of those youtube comments are like that...when I look up a video I can't believe some of the comments people make....makes ya wonder...
miamisammy29 Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 ...someone recommending Rush's version of the song... ..."What's it called?" TWO f***ing idiots!
bluesboy Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 I found a link to music books while perusing.
The Seeker Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 "It was recently announced that the entire Who's Next (1971 Release) album would be available to download for the upcoming video game Rock Band for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3" Someone please please please tell me this is not true. It can't be true.
miamisammy29 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Gives a whole new meaning to "The Who Sell Out", huh?
TheLizard Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 It is true, that was announced when the idea for the game was announced. Albums will be available for download monthly, I believe. I know Metallica's Master of Puppets is another one that will be available. Personally, I don't see what's wrong with that. Rock Band is a great, innovative video game and it's a very good way to get people that otherwise wouldn't bother to discover The Who. Guitar Hero and Rock Band have been vital in sparking an interest in classic rock amongst people my age who had no previous interest.
The Seeker Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 It's a video game and I don't care much which video game... plus to me Who's Next is a bit of a sacred album and only those who really appreciate the Who should be allowed to listen to the whole album. Yes, call me snobbish.
miamisammy29 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 I know Metallica's Master of Puppets is another one that will be available. And yet another way for Lars Ulrich to suck every last dime he could out of the pockets of eleven-year-olds. More power to him.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 I can't stand that wee little *&^%er. Lars, not Sammy.

Jill Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Don't know if you all ever feel this way, but sometimes I skip through songs that I've loved in the past. Maybe I'm not in the mood to hear it, or I've heard it so many times before, or maybe it's just the hecticness of life (work, kid, etc)that make me click through or skip through a beloved song. Yesterday I was driving, flipping around on the satellite radio and "Jungleland" by Bruce Springsteen was on, a real favorite of mine in the past but largely ignored by me in the last 10-15 years or so. Something had me keep the radio on that station and I listened to the song again to the very end. I felt a cynical-ness melt away, at least temporarily. I felt the power of first discovering a moving piece of music. That was cool.
Tony Baloni Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 I haven't been able to get Africa by Toto out of my head for like, a week.
Jenny Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 I love your username, Tony. Welcome to Songfacts!
_Laurie_ Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 You know, I really like the intro to Back In Black by AC/DC
Ken Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 You know, I really like the intro to Back In Black by AC/DC If you crank it up loud at the very beginning, you can hear Phil Rudd count "......three, four..."
