Good Question!

1. AC/DC

2. The Eagles

3. Queen

4. Led Zeppelin

5. Lynyrd Skynyrd

6. Styx

7. Pink Floyd

8. E.L.O

9. The Rolling Stones

10. Billy Joel

This would probably be my most recent list, cause it changes from time to time, its so hard to categorize those, they arent in order of favorites, cause my mind would explode. Billy Joel is in there cause i just started listening to him, and i know Mr. Joel hates Piano Man, but i love it!

Oh gee wiz your going to get a ton of responses to this one, and as numerous responses as the number of people participating. My selections will undoubtedly ring the bell equal to the balls being busted here.

1. Led Zepplin

2. Mettalica

3. Rolling Stones

4. Van Halen

5. Jimmy Hendrix and "The Experience".

6. Allman Brothers Band

7. Lynard Skynard

8. Doobie Brothers

9. CSN&Y

10. Alice in Chains

Of course you've limited it to ten picks, and there are always a number of others that would be picked.

It's a hard one, but here's my current top ten

10)Steve Miller Band (gotta love "The Joker")

9)Pink Floyd

8)Led Zeppelin

7)Pearl Jam

6)Alice In Chains

5)R.E.M (I highly reccomend their greatest hits album that just came out "In Time")

4)Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

3)John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band

2)The Beatles (it was close between them and #1)

1)NIRVANA(duh :jester:)

a close runner up was The Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante's easily the best guitarist to come out in the last 20 years. Foo Fighters are really close as well

I may not have ten bands. Let's see....

Stevie Ray Vaughan

Springsteen

KISS*

Aerosmith*

Ted Nugent

Iron Maiden

*Early stuff.

Nope. I guess the bottom part of my top ten change too much to merit making the list. But those are my mainstays.
