I was hoping that nobody nominated a Beatles' or Stones' song this time and we could have a 'wide open' Top Ten for #80. However, I have no right to tell anyone what they can or can't nominate. I think I'm becoming 'disenchanted'.

I guess I'll just have to replace myself with someone emotionally stronger than I , who's only interested in the good of the Top Ten, and who's not afraid to make any necessary calls and stick by them ! This isn't a 'poor me' Post. Many of you know I've been thinking of leaving for a long time.

Darryl, you do what you feel is best for you, but you will be missed!! I came back to the top 10 for you and I will stay even if you go. It is the only thing I post on now. You are a dear friend and I will stand by you whatever you decided to do. Hugs to you sweet man.

If you're online and haven't nominated yet, it'd be nice if you could do so now (only if you want to :P ).

I'll put the nominations up in half an hour.

Fin... you're far too nice about it.

NOMINATE. NOW. DAMMIT. Or be prepared to suffer the consequences.

(I don't know exactly what those consequences will be just yet, but I assure you it'll not be pretty.)

YEAH!! F**K "THE MAN"!!

1. Bonzo Goes To Bitburg - Ramones (Great tune. And it was so cool to hear it in "School of Rock"...the role Jack Black was BORN to play.)

2. Under My Wheels - Alice Cooper ("Telephone is ringin', I got you on the run, I'm drivin' in my car now, anticipatin' fun!")

3. Change of Heart - Tom Petty (One of his best, yet most underrated tunes.)

4. Jailbreak - AC/DC (Three words...BON F****ING SCOTT!)

5. Peace Frog - Doors (Undoubtedly their best tune. I'm surprised this one hasn't made it yet.)

6. I Want You To Want Me - (Cool tune, but should be one of the choices on that new "Overplayed" poll. Cheap Trick has SO MANY better songs than this one.)

7. Ice Cream Man - Van Halen (Cool remake of the racy John Brim classic. Gotta love those old bluesmen.)

8. Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon - Neil Diamond (And I love Urge Overkill's version in "Pulp Fiction". UO also makes a cameo in "Kingpin".)

9. Love Like Blood - Killing Joke (The band that made Nirvana famous.)

10. Let My Love Open The Door - Pete Townshend

:afro: :afro: :afro:

Okay. Change my Number 10 to "Let My Love Open The Door".

I would just like to ask, right now, if it is possible for me to withdrawal my nominations this week? I posted both of those songs mainly because I was feeling pressured to post something, not because I'm a big fan of those songs (even though I like them). I know I'm late (because of ****in' school  ) in saying this, as voting has started, but I would really appreciate it if you could grant this request of mine. School is sucking up the majority of my time (though that’s probably for the best—Darryl’s even advised me my top-priority be my studies), and--admittedly--it gets extremely boring sitting there for hours, listening to video after video playing, until I get aggravated with the whole process.

I suppose this can also double as my temporary resignation from the list. I'm sorry, but I just can't keep up with the songs and voting anymore. I'll still be a part of the message boards--and I might come back every now and again when time permits, but right now I think this is for the better.

'Sides, we all know none of you would vote for my songs anyway. ;)
