Lucky
'Sides, we all know none of you would vote for my songs anyway. Now there you are wrong, kiddo. I was voting for The Doobies! But, there is absolutely nothing wrong with concentrating on your school obligations, in fact I applaud you. You come back whenever you do feel that your schedule allows it. I guarantee, we'll be here! CanAm and Steel both revised their votes, leaving only Sammy and edna. They've both been sent pt's, and since they are fairly reliable about being here, there should be no problems! OLD 55
I'd hate to think that some people aren't voting for 'Penny Lane' because of what I said. CanAm very kindly offered to withdraw the song, but voting had already commenced. We've tried to address this nominating/not nominating 'Biggies' for a long time. I nominated a Queen song a few Top Tens ago and upset someone + there's been various others that I've withdrawn because I don't want to appear too 'competitive'. Anyway, let's make #80 'Biggies whoever wants to'. Give me that anyday rather than obscure songs that most of the population have never heard of. I don't want any fuss, but thanks for the good wishes from so many people, both here and in PTs. I'll at least be taking a long break after #80. I'll PT my votes for 'The Ultimate Top Tens' to Chris and probably vote in the Final of that. It's worthy of your support. I'm really disappointed that the last Round received so little ! Oh, and I'm really sorry to see young Ry leave. Hope he comes back after his studies. He's a good Kid. I thought what Lucky said was very wise. And I would certainly have voted for 'Listen To The Music' too.

Lucky
And I voted for it, when I often leave the Beatles out! I think we've all overcome that voting/not voting thing. As long as everyone nominates and votes honestly for the songs they like the best, then the Top Ten will be an honest representation of SF's likes and dislikes. That is the point, yes? And, Super Ry, you're not being graded on this, and you're not gonna win any awards for it, so just go with the flow, man.

This isn't a 'poor me' Post. Many of you know I've been thinking of leaving for a long time. Everything was going along fine until you decided you couldn't get along with Martin and got rid of him. Why don't you bring Martin back (if he'll accept ) and have Lucky, Seeker and Martin run things while you're gone.
