c_s_1987
[bigger]THE THIRD SONGFACTORS' CHOICE ULTIMATE TOP TEN - ROUND 1[/bigger] - No nominations are required, as the songs have been selected from our 25 top tens. - Voting rules will be exactly the same as the normal top tens - rank your favourite songs in the list from 1-10, and 10 points will be given to your number 1 song, 9 for number 2 etc. - We have decided to restrict eligibility to vote to only those people who have nominated or voted in at least one of Top Tens 51-75. We think that's fair! - We realised it would be ridiculous to expect people to come up with a top ten from all 250 songs, so I have seeded the songs and split them into fair groups. - The results will be announced in about five days from the start date of this thread. - This is Group 1 of 5, and this group contains 50 songs. I will then combine the five top tens together to form a group, and then we will vote on these songs to form the Ultimate Top Ten. Group 1: '39 - Queen (1975) Baby I Need Your Lovin' - The Four Tops (1964) Beginnings - Chicago (1971) Blitzkrieg Bop - Ramones (1976) Blue Bayou - Roy Orbison (1963) Boys of Summer - Don Henley (1984) Break Up Song, The (They Don't Write 'Em) - The Greg Kihn Band (1981) Breakfast In America - Supertramp (1979) Call Me The Breeze - Lynyrd Skynyrd (1974) Come And Get It - Badfinger (1970) Dancing in the Moonlight - King Harvest (1973) Do Ya - The Move (1972) Domino - Van Morrison (1970) Father Christmas - The Kinks (1978) Fire - Pointer Sisters (1978) For What Its Worth - Buffalo Springfield (1967) Groovin' - The Young Rascals (1967) Hang On Sloopy - The McCoys (1965) Heart Of Stone - The Rolling Stones (1965) Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again - The Fortunes (1971) I Feel Fine - The Beatles (1964) I'm a Man - Chicago (1969) It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll) - AC/DC (1976) It's So Nice To Be With You - Gallery (1972) It's Your Thing - The Isley Brothers (1969) Just A Little - The Beau Brummels (1965) L.A.
