miamisammy29
1. Do Ya - The Move (A true classic) 2. Never Been To Spain - Three Dog Night (I've never been to Spain, but I kinda love this song.) 3. Voices - Cheap Trick (I may have mentioned this before, but Robin Zander sounds a helluva lot like John Lennon.) 4. Strutter - Kiss ("Everybody says she's looking good, and the lady knows it's understood.") 5. Lay It On The Line - Triumph (My favorite from Canada's second best power trio. I challenge you to name a third.) 6. Medicine Jar - McCartney & Wings (Cool tune from just prior to the beginning of his "mindless fluff" era.) 7. I Started A Joke - Bee Gees (Written and sung by the dorkier twin, Robin Gibb, or as I like to call him, "Throatwarbler Mangrove".) 8. Hang On Sloopy - The McCoys (Took 'em nearly two hunnerd years to finally rassle the rights to this song from dem dang-blasted Hatfields.) 9. A Message To You Rudy - The Specials (The Fun Boy Seven kick up a damn fine pile o' ska! Don't they?) 10. Doctor Wu - Steely Dan (It's not "Bad Sneakers", but it's a pretty cool tune.) Uncle Joe
1-Danny's Song - Anne Murray (1973) I'm the lucky one. 2-Do Ya - The Move (1976) Don't I!!! 3-Doctor Wu - Steely Dan (1975) How did I not place this at #1? 4-Electric Avenue - Eddy Grant (1983) Ya Mon! 5-Never Been To Spain - Three Dog Night (1971) That Hoyt Axton wrote some excellent tunes. 6-Reason To Believe - Rod Stewart (1971) That Tim Hardin wrote some excellent tunes. 7-Be-Bop-A-Lula - Gene Vincent (1956) Gene was badly injured in the crash that took Eddie Cochran's life and he nor his career were ever the same. 8-Bernadette - The Four Tops (1967) Keep a good thought for Levi Stubbs who is very ill. 9-Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Pickett (1973) Just for fun. 10-Hang On Sloopy - The McCoys (1965) That Derringer guy...rumored to have played with Deep Purple (or so some say). This group made a habit out of turning Axton family songs into hits. This is a good rendition, but I prefer Hoyt's original.

Super Ry 71
Tonight, you're mine completely You give your love so sweetly Tonight, the light of love is in your eyes But will you love me tomorrow? Is this a lasting treasure Or just a moment's pleasure? Can I believe the magic of your sighs? Will you still love me tomorrow? Tonight, with words unspoken, You say that I'm the only one But will my heart be broken When the night (when the night) Meets the morning sun? I'd like to know that your love Is a love I can be sure of So, tell me now and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow? Instrumental Bridge So, tell me now and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow? Will you still love me tomorrow? (repeat and fade out)

OLD 55
Thanks All. I always remember the date, because it was the day before my Wife's 22nd Birthday. We didn't date until 3 months later, as we were both sort of attached to others at the time. Flowers today, presents, movie, lunch tomorrow. Lucky
Ray, you voted for Doucette! Wow, that was really a long shot. Poor Mr Doucette, I even left him out. Good thing he had a fellow Canadian around to support him! Congratulations Darryl! What a smooth operator you are. But, congrats to Val too. She got herself a romantic, with a great memory! Two very good traits to have in a hubby!
Jenny
Congrats to you and Val, Darryl. You're both very lucky. Not too many couples make it for 40 years, so that's something to be proud of!
