Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 He kinda of went off the map didn't he?? Kind of like Taylor Hicks...funny how the winner isn't always the one that "makes it big"...
miamisammy29 Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 what has Rueben Studdard done lately????anything? He's gained about a hundred and fifty pounds.
_Laurie_ Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 what has Rueben Studdard done lately? Antonella
Levis Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 I HATE Limp Bizkit! How DARE they mess with Bittersweet Symphony? As if THAT isn't insult enough they use it as the tail-end of a *koff* cover of "Home Sweet Home" by Motely Crue?! This goes beyond sacriledge!!
Levis Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Oh, shut UP, you stupid man... stop hurting my song!!!
The Seeker Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 They messed with Behind Blue Eyes too. That's beyond sacrilege as well. Stupid man indeed.
Rayzor Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Limp Bizkit should be thrown onto the field at Comiskey Park and burned in a bonfire instead of the Disco records. I'd rather listen to disco than any more of Limp Bizkit wrecking perfectly great tunes! (insert badfinger here) Limp Bizkit!!
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 I was a little disappointed to see Vince Gill in a fruit of the loom commercial. He is my country weakness...mmmm Anyway, he isn't singing one of his songs, so I guess that is good, just on stage singing with the apple guy. Now if Vince would have been in his fruit of the looms....
Rayzor Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 I bet you have alot of "weakness" men out there
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 I bet you have alot of "weakness" men out there Who me? They tease me at work all the time because of Bruce, Clapton, John Lennon, and Don Henley because I say how I admire them and they are great artists or and that they are not bad to look at!! My boss laughs and says who don't you think is hot???
Floydaholic Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 The new Smashing Pumpkins album is actually really good, I'm listening to it at the moment. It's incredibly savage.
_Laurie_ Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I called hubby at work and I was put on hold...So while waiting, the song "My Baby Does The Hanky Panky" was playing while I was waiting....haven't heard that one in years...got me moving and groovin....I was kind of hoping I could hear the rest of the song, but then hubby came to the phone.... Maybe I'll call again tomorrow, just to see what their song of the day is....
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 One the way to work I heard Mustang Sally and I cranked it loud and put my car windows down...for a few minutes I was drivin' a mustang!! What a great song! :guitar:
_Laurie_ Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Don't ya just love those good drivin' tunes SJ?!! :guitar:
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 I love headphones!! I just listened to New Sensation ~ INXS and now Back In the USSR ~ The Beatles...have them cranked and nothing better...NOTHING!!! (Ok maybe there is something better... )
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Special of the week on my show today, Stevie Nicks!! Shawna where are you girl!?? 90 minutes of Stevie Nicks...YEAH!!!
RonJonSurfer Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Is the live streaming of your station due soon? there are many rabid Sweet Jane fans that need to hear your show.
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 To be honest RJ I don't know, it is very complicated and there has been a vew snags with equipment, they still keep saying before the year is up...I hope so...I mean I can start a fan club...get rich...find a boy toy...all the good stuff famous people get!
skybluesky Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 I saw a CD titled Best Pop Duets and among the songs on the CD-"Love Will Keep Us Together" by The Captain & Tenille. How is this a duet? All the Captain did was play key boards and wear a captain's hat.
Sweet Jane 61 Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 Shannon, good question...I mean he was just kind of there, and for a song to be a duet you actually have to sing, not just be there...mmmm...they need to explain this one.
Rayzor Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 There are alot of CD's out there that have some kind of claim on them (Best Rock Anthems!, Greatest Hits of the 80's!, etc, etc) But in reality it's just a collection of music from that label as yet another means of ripping money from the public's hands. I've seen an album titled "Heavy Metal's Greatest" or something like that and it featured the Eurythmics. What?

It shall all be yours...
