OLD 55
Well, I know ONE of those songs so far. I had 'Games People Play' on my Lista also, so it should certainly figure high in my Ten, bluesboy.

c_s_1987
Well, I know ONE of those songs so far. I had 'Games People Play' on my Lista also, so it should certainly figure high in my Ten, bluesboy. I'm feeling the same way - the only one I've heard other than my nominations is West End Girls. The number of songs I know from the list is getting less and less, but it hasn't managed to get under 10 yet.
c_s_1987
On viewing the video - I have also heard "December". It was just one of those songs that I didn't know the title of.

OLD 55
Well, we had people quitting because the songs were 'too commercial', and now it could go the other way ! 'West End Girls' is a good song (I'll bet you didn't think I'd like the Pet Shop Boys) so now I have TWO, possibly three, because the only other song I know is 'Out Of Limits' which is "O.K ". I'll view the other videos though. I'm usually one of the first to nominate, but I'm going to think about them more before I do now. '99 Luftballons' may have to wait Martin (even though yesterday was your Birthday).Hope you had a great 22nd Birthday Mate. Maybe you're still celebrating! Make sure you nominate a couple of good ones and you might get a #1 here, I reckon.

OLD 55
I'll go the other way with Phil's nominations. I also had 'Oh Happy Day' on my Lista. The Edwin Hawkins' singers were great. Here's the original recorded version that I had saved in my 'Favorites'. Oh Happy Day - Edwin Hawkins Singers

Lucky
Y'all have never heard "Renegade" by Styx? Wow. That was a VERY popular song here in the US. My Joe Walsh nom is from the 1972 album Barnstorm, also very popular (in my age group), but definatly an FM kind of song. Sometimes I think that is the division (U.S. vs everyone else), more so than ages.
Jenny
I've heard "Renegade" lots of times, but never knew the name of it! Anyway, here are my noms: Pressure - Billy Joel (1982) Only The Lonely - The Motels Martha Davis (I think that's her name) has a great voice!
