Shawna
Nooooo! I was referring to her complaining about the neighbor's dog barking... and then you said someone kills the dog in the book... so I thought maybe Laurie "took care" of the neighbor's dog and it ended up in a book... just my sick sense of humor. RonJonSurfer
What grinds my gears is that after years of typing at typewriters and computer keyboards I still suck at typing. How could I put this many hours into anything and still stink this bad? When I want to type the word "your" I always somehow miss the "r" and type "you". Spellcheck never alerts me because "you" is a word...just not the freakin' word I want to type! I spelled "September" wrong on a letter yesterday..three different times and three different ways. Sptember...Spetember...Setpember. See your in Setpember...see your when the summer's through.....
miamisammy29
The Bigwigs upstairs scheduled a meeting for today and asked me to order the big pot of coffee from the convenience store in the basement. I ordered the coffee on Tuesday, and yesterday they canceled the meeting.....NOBODY F***ING TOLD ME!! So, I have a huge pot of coffee in the office (enough for twenty people). I ended up paying for it, so I'm out twenty bucks and I don't even like coffee that much. I'VE BEEN DRINKING COFFEE ALL MORNING, AND NOW I HAVE TO TAKE A P*SS SO BAD, I CAN TASTE IT!! edna
Took the words right out of my mouth RonJon. I even took typing classes off and on and I still stink at it and I won't even mention my horrible spelling and grammar skills I have been working as a journalist and a translator since I was 18. I typed each and every day of my life. Now, at 53, it's when I'm starting to mispell the words. Must be because I'm tired or maybe I need glasses or maybe I just trust myself too much... Shawna
I've been a fast typist on a regular keyboard since I took typing in high school, lo those many many years ago. So I figured I'd be a natural for typing fast on a steno. Wrong. Now, not only am I not progressing fast enough on the steno for my comfort, it's also wreaking havoc with my normally quick keyboard keys! I make so many misstrokes now on the keyboard it makes me insane.

The Seeker
So for some reason the smoking ban didn't apply to the place I went to last night. I'd completely forgotten what it's like when even your skin smells of cigarette smoke

Shawna
blecchhh.. I used to hate coming home smelling of cigarettes. I'm so glad there's bans everywhere. Now the only person I have to worry about making me smell like cigarettes is Andy. And he's really good about not smoking when I'm with him - or at least going somewhere else to do it. pinkstones
The girls in my sister's sorority. They want more of her time and money than she can spare and she wants to leave. So now they're guilt-tripping her into staying, even though it's not what is best for her grades. Petty b*tches. I can't stand any of them, and I've met them. Edited September 7, 2009 by Guest not technically a bad word, but it depends on the context... ;)

Kevin
Well , being Canadian and playing hockey , we are quite used to losing teeth - ask Bobby Clarke - but usually on the ice . I'm going to try to golf in 2 hours , but that may still be the novocaine and scotch talking .

Kevin
20 years ago , I had the tops taken out . They wanted to take out the bottoms too , but that would've been a bloody mess as they weren't exposed yet . Now that they are , it's a cakewalk , and I recommend the same to others in a similar situation .
