What grinds your gears then?

Okay, so I know I'm a terrible patient when it comes to being sick...yes I know I'm a big baby but still..what grinds my gears is that I had plans for the weekend...Every year our town has "Hang Around Town Day"....I look forward to the Clambakes, Giovanni's Sandwich Cart, the arts and crafts, and the festival afterwards with fireworks....Sooooo then my daughter calls and asks if I'm going, I told her no I'm sneezin and coughin, and all stuffed up...I asked her very nicely if she was going...and to get me some clams from the clambake, because they were really cheap, plus you get salt potatoes with them for 5 bucks..she says "Oh sure mom, we'll bring you some"...well she never ended up going, so yep she text messages me...she doesn't call but texts me and says sorry we ended up going to the mall instead...Sooooo Then my sister calls and says "can we park in your driveway and then walk to town?"....I says sure...and then asks...hey while you're there wanna get me some clams and bring em back to me?...she says "Clams?..ewwww, they're gross"...soooo that fell through...then I thought okay how about dear hubby???...I called him at work, had to talk to the dippy secretary again, and then I finally got ahold of him...Of course dear hubby will do this for me...Soooo after he got out of work, he went to get me my clams, and by then it was over with...they were all out of clams....Grrrrrrr.....

The little kitty -well, she's 1 year old by now... but she's such a cutie! - will be spayed on Tuesday (next one) I hate it but otherwise they suffer a lot when they're in heat... so we'll be taking her to the vet in seven says. Poor little thing, I hope everything will be OK.

I would have prefered to do it on Thursday but we have a Rosh Hashanna celebration on Friday night so I wouldn' t leave the cat alone one day after surgery. Fortunately the vet told me "seven days"...

Lay low with Nyquil then , and quarantine yourself . Keep the windows open ( except at night ) for fresh air and ask a buddy to get you some Vick's if you haven't any already . (Just got through it myself ) . Robitussin if the cough is heavy and wet .

Just sleep or take it easy - for a few days , at least . You'll be fine. Don't take a bath if you have a fever , though .

:D
