blind-fitter
1) Rottweillers - Nerve Rack (1991) 2) Song To The Siren - This Mortal Coil (1984) 3) Leaving On A Jet Plane - Peter, Paul & Mary (1967) 4) Blackberry Way - The Move (1968) 5) Papa's Got A Brand New Pigbag - Pigbag (1981) 6)There Is An End - The Greenhornes feat. Holly Golightly (2005) 7) Save Me - Aimee Mann (1999) 8) Brand New Cadillac - Vince Taylor & his Playboys (1959) 9) Hunter Gets Captured By The Game, The - Marvelettes (1967) 10) When The Sh*t Hits The Fan - Circle Jerks (1983) Hmmmm. I've always considered "Song To The Siren" to be in my Top 3 favourites of all-time, but when it came down to it, both "Siren" and "Rottweillers" have such a strong emotional resonance within me, that I really had to wrestle to come to a decision. Ultimately, "Rottweillers" is my favourite song by a band that really means alot to me, and I did nominate it, after all. I've nominated "Song To The Siren" before and it failed (dismally) to make the Ten. Too classy and not instant enough for the customer-base I guess. In my ideal world, both "Rottweillers" and "Song To The Siren" make the Ten, sooner or later. Both in the same week would be too much to hope for. Thanks, Seeker, for nominating The Greenhornes (feat. Holly Golightly) song. Holly Golightly is great from the bits I've heard over the years, but I've never got round to buying any of her stuff: not knowing where to start. This is a splendid track you've nominated; might prompt me into some purchase-action!

Thinking About You - Norah Jones (2007) 10.How To Disappear Completely - Radiohead (2000) some great songs I never heard before this week at first I thought "Low vs Diamond" means something like a remix from a Low song - but this one isn't too bad either
