Levis
The list would be near perfect if it wasn't for the fact that Jim Morisson in not on it That is unforgivable. Michael Edward
RonJonSurfer
...and John Lennon for that matter.

CanAm
Jon Bon Jovi third??? Puhlease! He shouldn't even be on this list. And Mick Jagger is only 10th? And where are Eric Clapton, Lennon or McCartney and perhaps even Rod the Mod. Any one of them would be a better pick than Bon Jovi or Bono. And if being drug or booze addled is a qualification for being on this list (see Ozzy Osbourne) or known for outrageous behaviour on stage (Osbourne again), then why aren't Joe Cocker, Alice Cooper or Ted Nugent on the list. Levis
I can understand wanting to kick Jon Bon Jovi off the list, but like it or not, Bono is a rock god

The Seeker
Jon Bon Jovi? Roger Daltrey should be on this list too, and not just because I'm a little biased.

LeeBB
Does anyone know what this list is actually meant to represent? Are we talking charismatic front-persons, larger-than-life figures? If so, then where on earth is Robert Plant??? LBB
MindCrime
The full list sounds about right to me, I'm sure Bon Jovi had a large part of female supporters.
edna
I believe in Greek gods, they´re such fun... like a soap opera... But there are godesses as well... I also believe in rock gods (and godesses), they make us feel so good with their music and their posters and etc...

MindCrime
There probably should have been at least one Rock Goddess on this list, whoever it may be Janis, Stevie, Wilson Sisters, etc.
Kevin
Complete fools are making lists now ( ie. a half-baked British survey of 4,000 idiots for 'onepoll' ) - pay them no mind .
Tenacious_Peaches
I know that it's Friday and I've had a hard week, so I'm going to assume that my eyes aren't functioning properly, because there is no way on God/Yaweh/Allah/Hasselhoff's earth that a list of ultimate rock gods includes Jon Bon freaking Jovi but no Robert Plant. I mean, come on. There is no denying that, folks. Whomever is responsible for this list can snack on my hindquarters.
RonJonSurfer
How did I manage to spell "Top" wrong in the title? I typed in T-E-P...the E is nowhere near the O on my keyboard. With that said, I kind of like this particular screw up, so I'm sticking with it.
miamisammy29
So what, you screwed up. So did the people that made this f***ing list!

LeeBB
So I'm thinking about the kind of "gods" that look good on a poster on my teenage wall... David Lee Roth, Paul Stanley, Rod Stewart, Michael Hutchence... as well as all the obvious ones mentioned before. These are what I think of as "gods"... it's not the same as being a rock "superstar"... it's a charisma thing, about visual and emotional impact. The kind of thing that Hendrix had but Eric never will. (I'm sure that Mick had it, but watching that Scorcese film makes me wonder.) Rock gods are iconic images that you would wear on a t-shirt... maybe that's my litmus test... "the t-shirt test". SO that means that Bob Marley belongs, but Bono?... sorry no ;-) LBB Edited January 10, 2009 by Guest
