Steel2Velvet
We're An American Band - Grand Funk Railroad 1973 "We're coming to your town/We'll help you party it down!" No Ordinary Love - Sade 1992 Windows tight against a blustery night, a fireplace alive and dancing, two glasses of wine, this song low in the background - that's all you need to potentially produce a memory with someone you love. miamisammy29
1. The Seeker - The Who (I'm surprised this one hasn't yet made the Top Ten, for two reasons: (1) It's one of the Who's best, and (2) since Fintan handles the list, you'd think he would have slipped it in somewhere in one of the Tens...even if it wasn't nominated that week.) 2. Oh Well - Fleetwood Mac ("Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to." I've considered using this awesome line as my signature.) 3. All The Way From Memphis - Mott The Hoople ("Forgot my six-string razor and hit the sky; halfway to Memphis before I realized." Totally cool tune!) 4. Mr. Spaceman - Byrds (I really love this one, probably because it's NOT a damn Dylan cover.) 5. Bad Time - Grand Funk Railroad (I guess I put this one at #5 because #6 can be somewhat overplayed.) 6. We're An American Band - Grand Funk Railroad (I must've picked a good time for back-to-back Grand Funk.) 7. All You Zombies - Hooters (Their first and their best. A bit of biblical history for the kiddies.) 8. Whiskey In The Jar - (Cool, old Irish folk tune, and partly the inspiration for the Dropkick Murphys.) 9. Cherry Bomb - The Runaways (Lita Ford, Joan Jett, Cherie Currie....ah yes, Sammy likes triple-decker sandwiches. Giggity, giggity.) 10. Bawitdaba - Kid Rock (Even though Kid Rock is a bit of a swollen gonad, I kinda like this one. Once again, don't tell anybody, okay?)
