bluesboy Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 Inside The Mind Of California Governor Jerry Brown What were you thinking?
Jenny Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 Sorry, but this new format is weird...maybe it's just the way it appears on my laptop, but too much scrolling!!
edna Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Not really a fan here either.I guess there must be things to be fixed still...But we'll eventually get used to it and like it...
chutzpah Posted April 19, 2015 Report Posted April 19, 2015 This is going to take some time to get used to. Right now, I'm not very impressed but eventually it will all work out. (I hope)
edna Posted April 19, 2015 Report Posted April 19, 2015 And where did 3,000 of my posts go??Oh, I lost some 22.000 posts this time. In the previous glitch I lost some 4.000. I guess we need room...
CanAm Posted April 19, 2015 Report Posted April 19, 2015 I know that change is always difficult, but I find this new format cumbersome. I'm lucky, I only lost about 200 posts.
Steel2Velvet Posted April 20, 2015 Report Posted April 20, 2015 I revised a former website. The resistance to change is a real lesson in human nature. I suppose we all fear the unfamiliar. But this is simply a forum, no more, no less. Write and read. How bad can that be?
Rayzor Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Yeah, Jenny. I lost 4000. No biggie, though cuz now it doesn't look like I was posting a whole lotta nothing! LOL Steel2Velvet 1
Shawna Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) I have no clue how many I had... or how many I lost. Or gained.I do notice I have two stars. What's that about? Edited May 2, 2015 by Shawna
edna Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I have zillions of posts, I lost half of them but who cares??? you can have them all. I'm a Songfactor and that's what counts
Rayzor Posted May 8, 2015 Report Posted May 8, 2015 (edited) You lost a couple thousand Shawna (if I remember right) Those stars mean you're in charge! You have as many as Carl! LOL Edited May 8, 2015 by Rayzor
Carl Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Saw the word "Appolonian" in print today. I seriously thought it was a reference to the Prince protege Appolonia. It wasn't.
miamisammy29 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 I believe APOLLONIAN is an adjective used to describe an unruly, obnoxious crowd (like those at the Apollo Theater).
CanAm Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 On another, subject, thanks to Philadelphia the self-proclaimed city of brotherly love for destroying a lttle a little, robotic ray of sunshine. I'm referring of course to Hitchbot, the little robot hitchiker. Somehow, hitchbot travelled across Canada (twice), safely visited several cities in Germany and the Netherlands and was treated with respect and affection in New York City, Salem and several other American cities. However, Hitchbot's odyssey came to an abrupt end when some yobbos in Philly decided to smash it and steal its computer components. Uncle Joe, I hope you are hanging your head in shame.
miamisammy29 Posted August 13, 2015 Report Posted August 13, 2015 Hitchhiking is a dangerous game, my friend. You take your life in your own hands when you do it.
