TheLizard Posted June 16, 2012 Report Posted June 16, 2012 It appears I'm getting married today. Then get off the freakin' internet!
RockyRaccoon Posted June 17, 2012 Report Posted June 17, 2012 I'm an old married man now! Here's a nice photo of Marisa and I. The wedding went about as perfectly as it could have. And starting tomorrow, I will be gone until Friday on honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
Kevin Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Congratulations to both of you! Lovely picture . Don't forget to set your pitcher's before you go. Life is amazingly normal again , after all, once the wedding 'buzz' wears off. Enjoy the honeymoon !
Lucky Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 What a lovely photo Ben ... congrats to you both again, and enjoy the honeymoon!

Farin Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Today is the 100th birthday of Alan Turing, the father of computer science, artificial intelligence and countless other stuff! Today's google doodle is Turing-Machine in his honour. www.google.com
Rayzor Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 So this is kind of a religious holiday for you then?
Farin Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 better than celebrating Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, isn't it but I have to admit that I only noticed it because of the google doodle also looking into this I noticed that yesterday was actually Konrad Zuse's birthday
Farin Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 well, they're both dead, so I guess that's okay
_Laurie_ Posted June 23, 2012 Author Report Posted June 23, 2012 Today at the grocery store, I saw someone who looked like Sammy Hagar...seriously, could of been his double...
Brad_M Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Maybe it was him, Laurie. He may have been picking up some limes to go along with his Cabo Wabo Tequila.
_Laurie_ Posted June 23, 2012 Author Report Posted June 23, 2012 He was in the soup aisle... Going to the Casino tonight...I'll be lookin' for more look-a-likes...
miamisammy29 Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 Today at the grocery store, I saw someone who looked like Sammy Hagar...seriously, could of been his double... When I was at the Aquarium in Gatlinburg back in May, I could have sworn the dude looking at the turtles was Nikki Sixx. He was with the wife and kids, so I didn't want to go up and ask him. But I'm almost positive it was him....unless he was the bass player in a Motley Crue tribute band. :guitar:
TheLizard Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Everything Matt Taibbi writes is essential reading. This is one of his best blog posts of the year. If you're American and planning on voting in November, read it.
Lucky Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Excellent writing (although really frightening )!
Jenny Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 This Saturday, at the BBQ we were at, my daughter and I are in the pool having a water gun fight. She grabs a water cannon type shooter, and as she's filling it says: "Say hello to my little friend!" No, she hasn't watched Scarface, but that line has been said on a Disney show she watches. Still, it was funny!
Rayzor Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Almost as funny as when I bribed my cousin to say the same thing while flashing the church-goers. Best 20 bucks I ever spent!
