I present to you all, A RIDDLE:

There are two rooms. One with three light switches, one with three light bulbs. You are in the room with the three light switches. You must find out which light switch corresponds to which light bulb. Here's the catch: once you leave the light switch room, you cannot come back. Therefore, how do you figure out which light switch corresponds to which light bulb?

Oh that's a cool one! I must say I heard that one a few years ago.

After some memory-digging I got the solution again:

[spoilerq:1]spoiler[/spoilerq]

[spoilera:1]turn switch 1 on for a while, then turn it off again.

Now turn switch 2 on, and go check.

switch 1 will correspond to the hot light bulb

switch 2 will correspond to the burning light bulb

switch 3 will correspond to the cold light bulb

Assuming it's not led light (doesn't heat up ;) )[/spoilera]

more riddles! :D

Edit: darn you Martin! :susel:

We have no Christmas holiday because the 25th was a saturday. Same for the first of january. Holidays should be the day to rest... but then we have parties and see lots of people and such...

So we' re all coming back to work a bit... tired.

One place I used to work at gave us Friday off if a holiday fell on a Saturday and Monday off if a holiday fell on a Sunday.

That was nice. That's how it should be.

yyyeaaah. Went to see Roger in Flagstaff to ring in the new year. Before we left the theatre at about 1:15 Jeff checked the weather on his phone: "-10." I did NOT want to go outside.
