RockyRaccoon Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Hahaha. YOU KNOW I'M GONNA LIVE FOREVER
TheLizard Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Jeff Bridges' faces during the Gift Wrapping sketch alone made the last SNL worth watching.
_Laurie_ Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 Lucky and Laurie's names right now side by side look like Christmas. Festive aren't we?....That's why I chose red...not one of my favorite colors...but tis the season!...
RockyRaccoon Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 I present to you all, A RIDDLE: There are two rooms. One with three light switches, one with three light bulbs. You are in the room with the three light switches. You must find out which light switch corresponds to which light bulb. Here's the catch: once you leave the light switch room, you cannot come back. Therefore, how do you figure out which light switch corresponds to which light bulb?
Levis Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Turn on two. Then turn off one after 5 minutes. Go into lightbulb room. You will have: 1. On Lightbulb 2. Warm Lightbulb 3. Off Lightbulb
pinkstones Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Why is it people can't pick up their dog's crap from our front yard? I don't let my dog poop in your yard, and if he does by accident, I will clean it up. Rude.
Viaene Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Oh that's a cool one! I must say I heard that one a few years ago. After some memory-digging I got the solution again: [spoilerq:1]spoiler[/spoilerq] [spoilera:1]turn switch 1 on for a while, then turn it off again. Now turn switch 2 on, and go check. switch 1 will correspond to the hot light bulb switch 2 will correspond to the burning light bulb switch 3 will correspond to the cold light bulb Assuming it's not led light (doesn't heat up )[/spoilera] more riddles! Edit: darn you Martin!
edna Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 what did I do? You? You've always been an amazing friend and solved many issues... and you are informative... and we love you and wish you a very happy christmas!
Viaene Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 And you beat me by posting the solution to the riddle before me!
Farin Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 if I did then it was a couple years ago in Riddle thread in Fun and Games
Shawna Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 ah, methinks viaene has Martin mixed up with Radhi on this one.
Viaene Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 oh, I did sorry Don't know how I could mix you guys up! I probably expected it would be you, Martin, to come up with the answer so quickly Darn you Radhi!
edna Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 We have no Christmas holiday because the 25th was a saturday. Same for the first of january. Holidays should be the day to rest... but then we have parties and see lots of people and such... So we' re all coming back to work a bit... tired.
Brad_M Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 We have no Christmas holiday because the 25th was a saturday. Same for the first of january. One place I used to work at gave us Friday off if a holiday fell on a Saturday and Monday off if a holiday fell on a Sunday. That was nice. That's how it should be.
pinkstones Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 My dad's office gave them Friday off since Christmas fell on a weekend. So he had a nice three-day weekend, although I don't think he's getting New Year's Eve off.
edna Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Yes, in other jobs I had they did... but this one is sort of crappy. At least I have a job where they pay!
Carl Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 In the bookstore today, noticed this section: "teen paranormal romance"
Uncle Joe Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 LOL...isn't all teen romance "paranormal"?

Lucky Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Haha! I did. And so do the rest of the Sf'ers that don't live in SoCal or AZ. Got a taste of some real cold didja?
Shawna Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 yyyeaaah. Went to see Roger in Flagstaff to ring in the new year. Before we left the theatre at about 1:15 Jeff checked the weather on his phone: "-10." I did NOT want to go outside.
