Levis
It's been covered by Nirvana so that makes it a LOT less obscure! Though I don't know how many people here are the 'Bleach' type
TheLizard
Yeah, I wondered if the Nirvana cover would've been better known, but I prefer the original.
Levis
I don't think so. I'd expect the original to do better... it's got more going for it.
edna
Oh... parsley, sage, rosemary etc... congrats! though I don´t like this song... At least "No Milk Today" made it...
Farin
So is "Love Buzz" more obscure than I thought, or does nobody else like it that much? I like this one more than the Nirvana cover... and I even voted for it Edited July 6, 2007 by Guest confused some things... sorry
phil
Uncle Joe, I was shopping at Kohl's, when the muzak version of You Are My Lady came on. I thought it was a message from God, so I had to nominate it. Turns out it wasn't a mesage from God at all, just another bad 80's song.
Steel2Velvet
Ain't that peculiar? Eight of the ten songs I voted for made the Top Ten! The two I voted for that didn't make it .... were my nominations.

Lucky
I think this is an absolutely amazing Top Ten! The top 5 songs are classics that should have made the ten by now. I haven't looked, but I don't think any of them had been nominated before this. Why is that? Scarborough Fair, Fame, and Our House? Well over a year since we started this little venture, and we are still pulling out great songs like this! Oh yeah... ALICE FREAKIN' COOPER!! MUSICAL INTERLUDE. :guitar: FORTUNE TELLER Went to the fortune teller To have my fortune read I didn't know what to tell her I had a dizzy feeling in my head Siad she'd take a look at my palm She said "Son, you feel kinda warm" And she looked into her crystal ball Said "You're in love" Said it could not be so Not with all the girls I know She said when the next one arrives Looking into her eyes I left there in a hurry Looking forward to my big surprise The next day I discovered That the fortune teller told me a lie I hurried back down to that woman As mad as I could be I told her I didn't see nobody Why'd she make a fool out of me Then something struck me As if it came from up above While looking at the fortune teller I fell in love Now I'm a happy fellow Well I'm married to the fortune teller We're happy as we can be Now I get my fortune told for free There you are Sammy. Nominate The Stones' version and I'll vote fot it.
Red Fish
I'm glad to see Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy and One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later) got fairly decent numbers. Both songs are quite underrated and the such. Shame I got distracted from placing them higher, though. I can't really complain about this top ten, though, since it's got Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan at the top.
Farin
I just noticed that one of my posts from yesterday got deleted (probably due to technical difficulties ) I can't remember who I replied to or the exact wording, but the gist was that I "proved, that anyone could nominate a #1 if they'd wish to do so and that I'm going back to songs where I don't know from the beginning that they will do so " sorry that it's completely out of context now
