RonJonSurfer
p.s. although it is true I have crept over that age 25 mark...actually I've almost doubled it!
Sweet Jane 61
Well that might be true RJ but if she is into someone else she may turn down our young floyd and he might be heartbroken...I say keep letting her know he is there and wait for this other guy to be a jerk and then floyd can be the one to come in and be the good guy. Sweet Jane 61
I'm just a hopless romantic...you always want the guy that makes you feel special and values who you are to be the one to tickle your fancy so to speak.
MuzikTyme
Funny how, if we look back on past relationships, that the very one's we dreamed for we let slip from our fingers; most likely because it came too easy. Getting older makes taking for granted a much-more serious issue. Do we really want what we can't have, or, is it just an indicator that one is never satisfied? A point to ponder. Kevin
We should always want what we cant have ; hate those who have it , and settle for what we can get and be somewhat happy with it yet return to beginning of this thought ... and around we go again and again . - the key to survival Using old BASIC programming: ( sorry if I'm a bit rusty ) 10 Try to get what you can't have 20 IF other's have it Then Go To 30 30 Envy and hate them 40 Enjoy what you can get 50 IF satisfied Then Go To 70 60 If Not satisfied Then Go To 10 70 Die Satisfied / End
MuzikTyme
Die SatisfiedMost likely, this is the goal of human existence. I just hope that she doesn't freak out during the climax whilst having my heart attack. What a way to go . . . . . . and they say dying in your sleep is best. HA! Kevin
I dunno . I find sleep to be satisfying . I just hope it isn't in a restaurant or somewhere public and embarrassing ...
Sweet Jane 61
I have to say I don't think we are ever completely satisfied as Muzik stated, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. There is always something you see that you want, and more often than not you don't get it, so you aren't satisfied. Then you live with the "what if" going through your thoughts... Ah but is you got to 10, how hard to you try at getting what you don't have and want?? When do you decide to give up?
Kevin
At 50 ; you will just know ( an individual and personal characteristic , granted ) if you are satisfied or must return to 10 . that however , is not age specific and could occur at any time depending on the make-up and wisdom of the individual . MuzikTyme
Sometimes, satisfaction comes with the realization that one is never truly satisfied. It's not the capture but the chase. Most of the time minus exceptions.
edna
I had enough fun in my life for the first 40 years, I did more than many people I know and now satisfaction for me is home, good friends, music/books/movies, summertime, a joint, my family, cool small parties with few people... ...and songfacts! MuzikTyme
complete satsifaction...naw, and if I had that I am afraid I would become bored... Insight such as this demands a response. How boring would it be to have everything? Everything is synonymous with true satisfaction. My theory, though not written in stone, is that if mankind (womankind if offended . . . whoa man) ever became truly satisfied there would be an abrupt halt in its own evolution. If the caveman was truly satisfied millions of years ago the wheel never would have been invented. Where would we be now if true satisfaction were possible then? Let's never be satisfied in this imperfect world. But let's not complain, either. Don't stop at the top.
Kevin
I'll buy that - if we don't pursue our own satisfaction, continually , at the expense of everyone and everything else . Komrade Kevin

Shawna
complete satisfaction in life = complacency. Never be satisfied. Always strive for more, as "Satisfied" does not necessarily equate to "happiness." It's possible to be quite happy without being 100% satisfied, and therefore complacent, in life.
