Kevin
So, Darryl suggested to me, that we adopt the same procedures, that we use in the 'Normal' Top Tens, meaning everybody makes a list of their ten worst songs which gets points from 10 to 1 etc. Do you think that will work? Do you have further suggestions/comments? In the moment we have ca. 120 nominations. I think that's enough. How about you? Do you want to keep nominating before we start the voting? So if you're all in favour of this, I'll make a list of all nominations and you can take your Ten Worst Songs out of it Looking forward your opinions... Sounds good - if, as Peaches said , you don't mind doing it ... #1 , then , will be the song we like the least and so on ?

OLD 55
GREAT EFFORT FARIN. Tough, because I don't really dislike too many songs. There's some good ones on here I'd vote for in a regular Top Ten. 1. Revolution 9 - Beatles 2. Don't Worry, Be Happy - Bobby McFerrin 3. Shaddap You Face - Joe Dolce 4. Tiptoe Through The Tulips - Tiny Tim 5. Teen Angel - Mark Dinning 6. Tell Laura I Love Her - Ray Peterson 7. (You're) Having My Baby - Paul Anka 8. I've Never Been To Me - Charlene 9. c_s_1987
1. My Humps - Black Eyed Peas (after much thought, I have decided this is indeed the worst song of all time, narrowly beating 50 Cent's "In Da Club", which I didn't nominate because I didn't want to nominate any rap songs). 2. Macarena - Los Del Rio 3. Wannabe - Spice Girls 4. Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Kylie Minogue 5. Who Let The Dogs Out - The Baha Men 6. Candy Shop - 50 Cent 7. Gasolina - Daddy Yankee 8. Beep - The Pussycat Dolls 9. Check On It - Beyonce feat. Slim Thug (monotone chorus = GENIUS!) 10. Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani

edna
I love many songs too, even some of my favourites... so I´ll go with the ones I´d rather not listen to very often. 1- Revolution 9 - Beatles (Sorry, Olfif...) 2- I Honestly Love You - Olivia Newton-John 3- I've Never Been To Me - Charlene 4- Torn Between Two Lovers - Mary McGregor 5- Tell Laura I Love Her - Ray Peterson 6- Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves (forgive me, Sue... I have my reasons... ) 7- We Built This City - Starship (What a shame...! The Jeffersons doing this! ) 8- Macarena - Los Del Rio 9- I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston 10-Gasolina - Daddy Yankee
CanAm
This is tough because I haven't heard a significant number of the songs nominated. However, of the ones with which I'm familiar, these are the real stinkers. 1. Who Let The Dogs Out 2. Shaddap You Face 3. Roxanne 4. Superman 5. Revolution 9 6. I Will Always Love You 7. Torn Between Two Lovers 8. MacArthur Park 9. Just Like Starting Over 10. In The Summertime
Crazy Don
1. Feelings--Morris Albert (When I first heard this in 1975, I said, "What the hell is this crap? This'll never be a hit!") 2. Revolution 9--The Beatles 3. Tiptoe Through the Tulips--Tiny Tim 4. Who Let the Dogs Out?--Baha Men 5. I Honestly Love You--Olivia Newton-John 6. Informer--Snow (How did this one-hit wonder ever deserve a greatest-hits album?) 7. Wannabe--The Spice Girls 8. Hollaback Girl--Gwen Stefani (This s*** is bananas! Really!) 9. Billy, Don't Be a Hero--Bo Donaldson & the Heywoods 10. Timothy--The Buoys

bazooka
1. California Girls - David Lee Roth 2. Welcome To The Jungle - Guns 'N' Roses These Top Two votes are based entirely on the vocal stylings of Diamond Dave (his squeeze-toy squeaks are the reason I never got into Van Halen) and Axl (must have studied with Carol Channing) 3. We Built This City - Starship 4. Bicycle Race - Queen 5. Having My Baby - Paul Anka 6. Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus 7. Feelings - Morris Albert 8. Kokomo - Beach Boys 9. Wannabe - Spice Girls 10.Sugar, Sugar - The Archies ... Only the version of this song performed by cartoon characters. Wilson Pickett's cover is superlative. Levis
1. Beep - The Pussycat Dolls 2. I'm A Slave 4 U - Britney Spears 3. Toxic - Britney Spears 4. These Boots Are made For Walking - Jessica Simpson 5. Candy Shop - 50 Cent 6. My Humps - Black Eyed Peas 7. Yeah - Usher 8. I Love Rock'n'Roll - Britney Spears 9. Gasolina - Daddy Yankee 10. In The End - Linkin Park This is really, really, really, hard... I think I had to narrow it down from fifty! I think the trouble lies in the fact that some artists have more than one nomination like Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls. I think I only voted for two of my own nominations

Kevin
I could almost cry there are so many songs I really like on the list I feel so "out" You're too sensitive , EA ! For me , could be just overplay or a case of rubbing you the wrong way at some point in many cases ... along with simply ' sucking ' . This is much easier than the top 10 ! What was that damn Tiffany song anyway - or Boney M's " Mary's Boy Child " ?! #1 : Bat Dance #2 : Thriller #3 : Don't Worry , Be Happy #4 : We Built This City #5 : Bicycle Race #6 : Macarena #7 : Kokomo #8 : Everything I Do #9 : California Girls #10 : Dust In The Wind
