RonJonSurfer Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 We are scheduled to have a 40 degree temperature swing (downward) over a 24 hour period.
ladynimue49 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 It's 23 here and that's cold for where I live in Maryland. Luckily growing up in New york helps me tolerate this weather. Cold to me is 10 degrees.
Shawna Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 we had a Goldilocks day yesterday. I don't have any idea what the reading was, but it was not too hot, not too cold, just right. I hear tell they're sayin' it's gonna rain again this week, though.
edna Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 We had some sunny Spanish days for a week or so... now back to Laponia...
Steel2Velvet Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Heard this on the news last night: so far, this has been the coolest summer on record in the city of Curitiba. At just over 2/3rds of our summer complete, we would need average highs to be a bit more than 95 degrees every remaining day in order to bring the entire summer average daily high temperature up to normal. I have actually enjoyed the cool temps - but then, I am an idoso.
Lea Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 It's about 35 degrees and snowing. Here I thought my part of the country would continue to be lucky It should all be gone in a couple of days tho and I don't mind fresh snow till it gets ugly when it starts melting.
Jenny Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 On the bad side....it's raining cats and dogs. On the good side, the rain is melting the snow.
Lea Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 If it doesn't stop snowing here pretty soon we will be able to ski down our driveway Good thing we went to my mommy's yesterday and did her shopping for her
pinkstones Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 It's 66 here at the moment, with an expected high of 71. A tad on the warmish side for this time of year, but for the waning days of February, no one is complaining.
Lucky Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It's cold! Into the 30's at night, 50's during the day, and tons of rain. Weird weather for here.
Jenny Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 This morning, we woke up to snow. My daughter looked out the window and said "But it's supposed to be Spring!"
Steel2Velvet Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Last day of summer today and it's been overcast and 65 F. all day.
RonJonSurfer Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 This morning, we woke up to snow. My daughter looked out the window and said "But it's supposed to be Spring!" A funny thing happened on the way to Spring...last Friday it hit 80 degrees, pretty nice for the next to last day of Winter...then on Saturday, it cooled off to around 50 and the same yesterday...today (as Jenny said) we had snow in New Jersey...it wasn't much, but for me it is too much.
Jenny Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 We're supposed to get more snow tomorrow. What can you do? March is a tricky month, so I don't technically consider it Spring until April.
RonJonSurfer Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 I officially convert to all short sleeves on March 1st and continue until at least Novemeber 1st (longer with good weather). That's how I define Spring. But they are calling for some snow tomorrow, more out by you Jenny.
Jenny Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 When I met my husband, he was Mr. "I love winter" and skiied all the time. He still likes to ski, but this morning, before he left for work, I told him that the snow would last all day he said "I'm sick of this s----"

Ombre Vivante Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 80 freakin' degrees in SoCal. I got charred at the beach... I mean, work
Shawna Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 in the 90s here, supposed be to down to 85 by Sunday.
Earth-Angel Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Pretty un-cold for winter which means the UK is not going to mess about with spring or summer this year (or so we're hoping!) Stockholm was getting pretty warm when I left last week, and I'm sure it's going to be a scorcher summer over there!

We'll be lucky to see Spring and I feel like Summer may turn into a distant memory I don't like the 90's but at this point 60 sounds good to me Damn.
Farin Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 at the same time we're having the warmest, sunniest, driest April in the history of weather reports. up to 27°C in Germany overall, and still above 20°C here
pinkstones Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 It's 48F here right now, and dreary and damp. I hate it. At least it's supposed to be in the 80s this weekend.
RonJonSurfer Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 "In your Easter ski cap...." it's way too cold for Easter, although i just heard it should be in the 70's the next few days.
