we had a Goldilocks day yesterday. I don't have any idea what the reading was, but it was not too hot, not too cold, just right.

I hear tell they're sayin' it's gonna rain again this week, though.

Heard this on the news last night: so far, this has been the coolest summer on record in the city of Curitiba. At just over 2/3rds of our summer complete, we would need average highs to be a bit more than 95 degrees every remaining day in order to bring the entire summer average daily high temperature up to normal. I have actually enjoyed the cool temps - but then, I am an idoso.

It's about 35 degrees and snowing. Here I thought my part of the country would continue to be lucky :(

It should all be gone in a couple of days tho and I don't mind fresh snow till it gets ugly when it starts melting.

If it doesn't stop snowing here pretty soon we will be able to ski down our driveway :(

Good thing we went to my mommy's yesterday and did her shopping for her :D

This morning, we woke up to snow. My daughter looked out the window and said "But it's supposed to be Spring!"

A funny thing happened on the way to Spring...last Friday it hit 80 degrees, pretty nice for the next to last day of Winter...then on Saturday, it cooled off to around 50 and the same yesterday...today (as Jenny said) we had snow in New Jersey...it wasn't much, but for me it is too much.

I officially convert to all short sleeves on March 1st and continue until at least Novemeber 1st (longer with good weather). That's how I define Spring. But they are calling for some snow tomorrow, more out by you Jenny.

When I met my husband, he was Mr. "I love winter" and skiied all the time. He still likes to ski, but this morning, before he left for work, I told him that the snow would last all day he said "I'm sick of this s----"

Never has Seatac not recorded at least one April day at 60° or above. We have yet to hit 60° so far.... Saturday looks promising though. *sigh*

Pretty un-cold for winter which means the UK is not going to mess about with spring or summer this year (or so we're hoping!) Stockholm was getting pretty warm when I left last week, and I'm sure it's going to be a scorcher summer over there!
