Tenacious_Peaches
Are you a woman in love, Fintan? Woman in Love Barbra Streisand Life is a moment in space When the dream is gone It’s a lonelier place I kiss the morning goodbye But down inside you know We never know why The road is narrow and long When eyes meet eyes And the feeling is strong I turn away from the wall I stumble and fall But I give you it all... Chorus: I am a woman in love And I do anything To get you into my world And hold you within It’s a right I defend Over and over again What do I do? With you eternally mine In love there is No measure of time We planned it all at the start That you and i Would live in each other’s hearts We may be oceans away You feel my love I hear what you say No truth is ever a lie I stumble and fall But I give you it all Repeat chorus I am a woman in love And I’m talking to you Do you know how it feels? What a woman can do It’s a right That I defend over and over again......

Heard It On The XM
Here's an inspiring post for you all... Remember that "Endless Love" earworm I mentioned a few posts back, that had been driving me crazy for weeks? Well, I finally found a way, albeit a truly dangerous one that should only be tried as a last resort, to drive it out of my skull: You guessed it - by siccing another earworm on it! Namely, "Seven Bridges Road" by The Eagles. Having just listened to Long Road Out Of Eden for the first time, I started playing the group's older stuff and this particular song became lodged in my head, and soon the two earworms were locked in mortal combat, just as I had hoped, which "Seven Bridges Road" ultimately won. But the fight evidently took a lot out of this earworm, for it too eventually shriveled up and died in a few more days. So to "Endless Love" I can finally say, "Begone with ye, vile earworm! Back to the cinematic Hell whence thou camest!" [* pounds staff on ground in best Gandalf impression *] There is hope, folks... there is always hope. skybluesky
Scissor Sisters-"I Don't Feel Like Dancing" The song plays over a video of clips of Stephen Colbert dancing, which I have watched about fifteen times the last two days. bazooka
The Resurrection Shuffle -- Ashton, Gardner, & Dyke. The Special 'One Hit' Top Ten put this song in my mind and now it won't go away. Think about nothing now You're nice and high. You're advocating Love But you don't know why And misery loves company. Anybody else remember it? I've already made my nominations for that Ten, and I haven't been able to find good quality audio or video for the original version. Tom Jones covered it. Otokichi
Danger! Folk familiar with 1960's music should NOT listen to Go Jimmy Go's "Tropical Christmas" at http://mog.com! If you dare, Kyu Sakamoto's "Sukiyaki" will turn your brain into...Sukiyaki as you try to reconcile a song about "unrequited love from afar" to a Christmas song. (You have been warned!)
