Farin Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 my current earworm: It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time It's Tricky... it's Tricky (Tricky) Tricky (Tricky) It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time It's Tricky... Tr-tr-tr-tricky (Tricky) Trrrrrrrrrrricky
Farin Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 had this since yesterday: Mirror, mirror on the wall Tell me, mirror, what is wrong? Can it be my de la clothes Or is it just my de la song? What I do ain't make-believe People say I sit and try But whan it comes to being De La It's just Me, Myself and I
Rock4Life Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 I have several "earworms" (great word, by the way): "D'ya Think I'm Sexy," by Rod Stewart. I sometimes listen to it just for the heck of it, but then I regret it when I can't get it out of my head for the rest of the day. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," by Cyndi Lauper. I can't stand her voice! "Girls Got Rhythm," by AC/DC. Now I like this one. It just gets in my head real easily. Same with "Who Made Who."
The Seeker Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 For about eleven hours now... Oh I love to love But my baby just loves to dance He wants to dance, he loves to dance He’s got to dance Arrggh
Levis Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Tina Charles!! We have that on vinyl in the basement... my aunt can recognise the album by the side of the sleeve. She'd play it for her sons when they were growing up and they'd be over at our house. So that'd mean I was about... ten? twelve?
Skuff Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 How about this: Can't get Enough of You Baby~Smash Mouth
Farin Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 when I have a Smash Mouth earworm, then it's Walking on the Sun

Tenacious_Peaches Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I'm a Slave 4 U - The ex-Mrs. Federline I cannot stop singing it! Argh! Someone kill me, please!
Farin Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 the Jeopardy theme and only because a friend told me that HE got it as an earworm, so of course I had to tease him about it... serves me right
bazooka Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 I have a feeling I might be shot for sharing. I got this tune stuck in my head this morning. It took me forever to figure out what it was.
Mars88 Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) Bon Jovi's You Give Love A Bad Name was on the radio today. My daughter decided it would be fun to say "Shot through the heart" about fifty times over the course of a few hours. I wanted to strangle her. Edited July 3, 2008 by Guest
Tenacious_Peaches Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 This is playing on a loop inside my brain... You Talk Too Much - Run DMC A big blabbermouth, that's what you are If you were a talk show host, you'd be a star I said your mouth is big, size extra large And when you open it, it's like my garage You talk too much And then you never shut up I said you talk too much Homeboy, you never shut up!
skybluesky Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 ^have I ever told you I love you? Because I do.
poetrychick Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Oh my goodness. At my school they would not quit playing the mbop song until people gave enough money, it lasted for two months. How ridiculous, "let's torture the students until they give us money they don't owe, so we can use it for something not for the school." Wonderful.
skybluesky Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 A poster, I won't say who, but let's just call him IntanFe, has helped to get Allentown jammed into my brain. And it will not leave.
The Seeker Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Who's that guy? We need to get him to join the Top Ten.
skybluesky Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Well, who ever he is, he'll be bummed that he's missing The Who documentary I'm watching right now.
Farin Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I wouldn't be surprised if that someone has the documentary on DVD
The Seeker Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Not if it's Amazing Journey A gaping hole in my collection.
The Seeker Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 And I managed to give myself an earworm, thanks to my news thread about the Who Postcard -- The Who
