I'll take that as a compliment

TMBG songs are one of the best kinds of earworms... you're next step should be Particle Man :shades:

Oh indeed it was a compliment. I don't know how I missed TMBG. They seem a natural fit for REM fans. I liked Particle Man, but Birdhouse is still embedded in my brain.

We called it "having a song running through your head". And for me, it's Hotel California. I can't listen to any part of it or it'll be stuck for hours - sometimes days. Which is, I imagine, the point. I stay as far away from that song as possible.

On a more uptempo note, I think my most pleasant earworms are Neil Young's Don't Be Denied, and Xavier Cugat's Mambo #5.

That was a mean trick Joe  It's bad enough I have had Bongo Bong stuck in my head for days and days.

I love Laurie's earworm I even have it on disk somewhere but I turned off the link before it could start playing :D I'd have had alternating earworms

I blame Martin for having Pearl Jam's 'Black' in my head through my entire exam!

(The exam went ok, but still..)
