_Laurie_ Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I've got "Private Idaho" stuck in my head now...probably coz those are just about the only lyrics in the song...but I like it...
Rayzor Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Born In The USA Got this in my head now...
johnny Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I always get "Head Like A Hole" by NIN stuck in my head. It could be worse though....
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 This song has been playing on a continuous loop in my head for the past couple of days. It's actually a good earworm for a change, instead of the crap that usually infiltrates my brain. Hate on Me - Jill Scott
TheLizard Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 see shout box That one was in my head a few days ago too.
skybluesky Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 What a Day for a Daydream-The Lovin' Spoonful
skybluesky Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Girlfriend in a Coma-The Smiths Who knew dour Morissey could be so catchy.
johnny Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 I love and hate Morrisey's music. But I agree, he is quite catching, especially "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side"....
Lea Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Paralyzer- Finger Eleven My daughter has this as her ring tone on her cell phone. It goes off a million time a day. I would like to throw her phone into our very deep pond. ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG ! :beady: :beady:
Heard It On The XM Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 My earworm for the past couple months may not surprise you much, since I've brought this song up in two different recent threads: "Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. Not the worst earworm to have... unless you either remember that song's original context, or you're like me and you were fool enough to look it up, thereby not only ruining an otherwise lovely song forevermore, but turning what used to be a fairly benign earworm into a voracious monster that's eaten into my brain and now threatens my very sanity.
skybluesky Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Today it's Waterloo Sunset-The Kinks.
The Seeker Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 It's been Bohemian Rhapsody for the past few days... a different part of the song every day.
edna Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Some Herb Alpert or Henry Mancini tune, I don´t even know from where it is... it was on a Simpsons´ episode...
skybluesky Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Oh great, reading this post has put the Pink Panther Theme in my head. Thanks Edna
edna Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 You´re welcome... ...at least you know what your earworm is... it kills me when I´m singing that tune to everyone I meet, "Do you know what´s this?" and no one knows for sure...
The Seeker Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I hate having an earworm at the back of my head, which just goes round and round and I never pay much attention to it and as soon as I try to focus on it to find out what song it is it disappears.
TheLizard Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Not sure I want to know what that's supposed to mean...
TheLizard Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Ah, I like the show, but haven't seen many episodes.
skybluesky Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Taxman, but now that's been overtaken by There's a Kind of Hush
