pinkstones
Chevy Van - [color:teal]Sammy Johns (1973) Another Park, Another Sunday - [color:teal]The Doobie Brothers (1974) Burning Bridges - [color:teal]Pink Floyd (1972) That Pink Floyd song is in my Top 5 of not only their catalog, but of all music. Gilmour's guitar is sinfully sublime.
OLD 55
Thanks Pink. Your enthusiasm does you credit. Kenne asked me to mention that next week (TT339) will be a "Artists Who Haven't Made Our Top Ten" Special. We hope to get lots of nominations - not just voters. OLD 55
As I was updating 'Every Song/Every Artist' for TT337 I found that "Sunday Morning - Velvet Underground " had already made the TT, so "Anytime - Journey" is elevated to 10th place. Brad, Kenne and I have had a 'talk' about closing the Top Ten voting earlier than we do now. There's just not enough time at the moment to update the Archive and Every Song/Artist before commencing the next Ten. I know this Ten opened a bit late, but could anyone else who's going to nominate (and we certainly hope there are more) please let us have your noms soon ? Thanks. OLD 55
Hi All! The number of nominations is disappointing. I'll leave them open for another 24 hours - 8.00PM Wednesday New York Time and open voting then. I hope some of our absent friends will return and nominate before that. Please bear with me. Perhaps you could have a listen to any nominated songs you don't know in the meantime ? That's what I'm doing as I'm totting up votes on Ray's PTT. Then we'll leave voting open for 3 days closing 12.00 Midnight Saturday, New York time. Please don't forget to vote in Ray's Personal Top Ten, and if all goes to plan, Kenne will be starting another PTT on Friday.
OLD 55
Oops ! I had to change my third nomination (doubled up on an Artist). I was going to use this one in next week's 'never made it artists' - everything else is in my PTT.
