Lucky
I think you're missing a song, Lucky; I nominated Eclipse by Pink Floyd and it went #1. I think you're right, I remember it, but I can't find it! I've gone through each week for this year beginning with week ending 01.09.11 and searched the archives, and can't find it. Granted we quit with the archives a while back, but that should indicate that it's was fairly recently. Someone else please check for me? And I'm sorry if somehow it's been left off, pink. Sincerely sorry.

pinkstones
It's fine, I made the boo-boo here. I nominated it in TT #243, but that was unfortunately in December of 2010, so a few weeks before this start date for this TT. So no worries. MindCrime
1 You Wreck Me - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (1994) 2 Houses of the Holy - Led Zeppelin (1975) 3 Home Sweet Home - Motley Crue (1985) 4 All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix (1968) 5 Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf (1968) 6 Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash (1955) 7 Stir It Up - The Wailers (1973) 8 She's A Lady - Tom Jones (1971) 9 Jessica - The Allman Brothers Band (1973) 10 Rock and Roll - Led Zeppelin (1971) IMO, I don't believe the specials I ran during the summer should count towards this, since those songs were already in the 10. I understand that filler nominations were needed, but this list is hard enough as it is. Just my $0.02 A totally valid point, and I debated, but as you said, we needed the extra noms, and to be honest this week was just for fun. After we see what our best of 2011 is (and pat ourselves on the back for having such great taste), I want to follow up next week with everybody else's Best of 2011. So next week will be another themed week, if y'all can handle it ...... Best New Release's of 2011.
