Otokichi Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Reading SongFacts Twitter posts. Kevin's strategy may transport Edna to the Wonderful World of Franco. (But if you want to mess with Kevin, tell the Japanese media that he HATES whale meat and Sushi because of the elevated levels of Mercury in whales and fish.) Since my work here is done, on to "Fun and Games."
Lea Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 DH got up for a snack and dropped 3/4 of a pie in the middle of the kitchen floor. I just finished cleaning it up. He did thank me
MarcM Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Well, that was nice of you, Lea! I dont think I would have been extended the same courtesy....

MindCrime Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Using the library at the computer for some reason.
pinkstones Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Using the library at the computer for some reason. Using the library at the computer, eh?
Lea Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I think I'm starting to rub off on you MC. That looks like something I'd type I'm trying to get over being so cranky today. It's not working
MindCrime Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I meant computer at the library, but I typed that in my final 10 seconds before my time expired. I didn't even think it sent through.
pinkstones Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Drinking a Starbucks. I swear, they put crack in these things or something, because they are very addictive.
Lea Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 To be honest, I have never had a Starbucks coffee I liked. I think it's the brand of espresso they use. I think it's terrible Our coffee shack here is so much better.

I think it's terrible Our coffee shack here is so much better. I don't drink regular coffee. I can't stand it. The only way I can drink coffee is in a frappucino or a chiller from Gloria Jeans. It's basically a glorified milkshake with some coffee thrown in. If you ask for a couple extra pumps of chocolate syrup, the coffee tastes is almost completely drowned out.
Lea Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 That must be my problem then. I love coffee. Straight and black

Gimme my Folgers.
pinkstones Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 A candybar in a cup. No, I wouldn't say that. I mean, you can taste that there's coffee in it but it's not overpowering. For people like me, that works out great. Because you're drinking coffee, it's just covered up. The frapp base is essentially coffee, milk and sugar [which incidentally is how my mom drinks her coffee] and a flavored syrup if you want it. So it's more coffee than milkshake. You should try it.
edna Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 Pinkstones, it's the first time I see you posting a smiley.. and that' s cool...
Lucky Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 No reason you shouldn't treat yourself to a candybar. No, I like those foufou coffees once in a while in the dead of winter, maybe once or twice a year. I always get one when I'm Christmas shopping. But I really, really enjoy my coffee everyday. Nice strong, plain old Folgers. (and like edna, I think the smiley is nice.)
Lea Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 (edited) You sound like me Lucky. I like my coffee hot and black and lots of it. I also like a couple of blendeds in the summer and the rare hot flavored stuff in winter As for the smiles, I use them because they can sometimes take the edge off a sentence that may sound harsh if I didn't use them. Or vice verse Edited September 19, 2009 by Guest
Lucky Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 I love my coffee. And my iced tea. I switch from one to the other all day. I might mix it up a little with hot tea. I basically love my caffeine.
MindCrime Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 I hate instant coffee (crystals) and I never cared much for your milk or fancy creams in it, but I do drink my joe with lots of sugar and sometimes a shot of scotch.
