Tenacious_Peaches
We are having a contest at work to dress up in the fashion of the decades. My team has the 90's. We've already talked about grunge. I thought of wearing my clothes backward like Kriss Kross but nobody had any clue what I was talking about. Suggestions, kittens? Jenny
I can't really think of any style besides grunge that stands out from the '90's....maybe baby doll dresses, a la Courtney Love? Otherwise, I can't remember any specific trend
Farin
I think Kriss Kross were the only ones that wore their clothes backwards... Grunge is easy... maybe a Techno / Raver look?
Levis
How about one of the Spice Girls? High ponytails, tongue piercings, tracksuits and little black dresses - take your pick
Levis
Boy bands too - Baggy pants, loose fitting t-shirts and moppy hair - not naturally moppy, but coiffed moppy.
The Seeker
I'm sure today's teenagers would love to hear you describe their baggy trousers and loose shirts as boy band style-y (but I know what you mean )
Uncle Joe
Fin, take those silly clothes off and get with the 2000's.

Uncle Joe
The dog is the only one who isn't over-dressed.
The Seeker
^ I wouldn't want to wear suits every day but I think they look quite nice. Fin, take those silly clothes off and get with the 2000's. Hmm... I think emo clothes and hair would suit me just fine. Tony Baloni
Ok, first, don't shower or shave for about 3 days, then find a bunch of orange, teal and purple XL clothes to wear, throw in an oversized flannel, a backwards hat, and some glasses the size of dinner plates, and you're good to go. Farin
look at wikipedia says white denim...
Levis
The dog is the only one who isn't over-dressed. Britpop was kind of the 'anti-grunge' - that's what made it so popular, I think. Or the reason it came to be, anyway.
Lucky
After looking at the wiki page, how about Goth? With those maroon/plum colored streaked hair, etc. Pale makeup, black lipstick & nails etc.
Carl
Go on eBay (or maybe your closet), and get one of those "Co-ed Naked (insert activity)" shirts. This trend actually started in the '80s, but peaked in the '90s. Sadly, the Totally Krossed out look never caught on.

blind-fitter
I've pretty much decided to go goth, btw. Interesting. In the UK, Goth was distinctly 80s: early 80s, in fact. Bauhaus, Banshees, Sisters Of Mercy, The Mission, Alien Sex Fiend, Fields Of tHe Nephilim, et al. (Leeds was Goth Centre of the Universe for a few years; in the wake of The Sisters Of Mercy came a load of vaguely similar outfits and a thriving Goth Club-scene). In the UK, by the end of the 80s Goth was dead as a doornail, or gone underground. Ne'er a Goth to be seen in the 90s, apart from in certain favoured haunts.
