Shawna
I thought it mightn't be known in the U.S. Maybe I'll nominate 'Suicide Blonde' next week. Everybody knows that one. I know "Never Tear Us Apart" but not "Suicide Blonde."
Levis
I know both But I think Never Tear Us Apart was quite the universal hit. You don't nominate new songs much Oldfif... knowing the song has little to do with whether it gets voted for
Levis
see? The single reached #24 in the UK, and stayed on the charts for 7 weeks. In the US, it reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
OLD 55
Hi girls. Mmm! I thought 'Suicide Blonde' was their biggest Hit globally. It was certified GOLD in the U.S. It's a lot more uptempo than 'Never Tear Us Apart'. And I probably wouldn't have known those songs if they hadn't gotten so much airplay here Radhi. I think INXS were a really good group. They 'campaigned' for a lead singer to replace Michael Hutchence, and the guy they picked was pretty good, but I'm afraid it was a bit like Queen trying to replace Freddie Mercury. So You Want To Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star - The Byrds (1967) I think I got a full house there! 3 kings and 2 queens !(places 2-6). Many years ago I played Rock n Roll poker on another forum. It went like this: you set your ipod to play a random selection of songs and at a given moment you note the five songs that are played. Then you use your imagination to build a poker hand and the one with the best hand wins.
Lucky
Shawna, Gin & Juice is a bit like BFB's The Booze & the Drugs. You hear it and dang it, it's stuck in your head! My kid had good taste in music. He got that from his Ma. Darryl, I think this particular INXS song is in fact, the one I like least. Suicide Blonde however is on my list (along with several others) so nominate away!!

I could've made this list a Top 25...easily. Like Shawna this was the first time I've heard or seen Gin and Juice by Gourd. I liked it.
