Greatest living drummer?

Recommended Posts

I once heard Neil Peart say that he could never hold a candle to Buddy Rich. Shows that he still respects the greats even though he's considered one of the greatest drummers ever! :drummer:

He's passed on, but the great jazz drummer Tony Williams was a master.

Tony Williams

Tony was truly great! I think this youngster here just may be his successor. I've seen this kid before when he was about 8 or 9. This clip is Tony Royster at 12. Tony Royster

Animal from the muppets band.

srsly..

In my oppinion, the best metal drummer is Justin Foley from Killswitch Engage. Although, Justin has been quoted as saying his primary influences include John Bonham, Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Sean Reinert, and Charlie Benante so I guess those guys are ok too.

:drummer: :)

you mean because you like John Mellencamp's band?

don't worry about it blue'n'white, everybody has his faults...

:jester: :jester: :jester:

Welcome to Songfacts

No because I like John Mellencamp...AND his band.No fault there unless you mean his political views, which doesn't really matter to me either. Music is Music. Politics is politics.
