c_s_1987
I am here to ensure nobody waits for my vote this week. I am quite busy this week, and I have heard very few songs from this week's list. I should be back as usual next week.

I guess I didn´t read my post twice this time, I planned to put it among my first 5... Too good it made it anyways!! I love that song...

Super Ry 71
Suppose I shouldn't be too suprised neither of my songs made it. I'll just try again some other time. Yah, 'A Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy' made it! And 'Set the Controls' just BARELY made it. I'm happy. And the Beatles made it on there as well. Good for them. I thought somebody might have forgotten they were there. All in all, a nice selection.
OLD 55
Now you stay with us, Super Ry. Sometimes it takes a while to crack the Ten ! I think we've all had nominations that we personally love, but they don't click with others. (I'd vote Fischer-Z's 'So Long' or 'Perfect Day' very high). Sammy's two finished 'down the track' last week, but he bobbed up this week with our #2 song. The greatest comeback since Lazarus. I think it's a good Top Ten - but it would also have been nice to see some 80s, 90s, 2000s there - and old 50s of course. A bit of a (pleasant) surprise #1 to me ! Great nomination, Katie. Lucky
Yes!! Somebody does like me, after all! Nah, we just like the song. We've been trying to get it into the ten for quite a long time. Finally! Thanks for nominating it again though! I'm really pleased that You Never Can Tell made it to first place. Chuck deserves it!
OLD 55
You just can't keep good songs down Lucky. We had a few people missing this week. Looks like Radhi's computer is down again, Chris is busy with study commitments, Lars is away, and (he probably won't like me telling you) Kevin has a very painful pinched nerve in his neck ! Martin, we all appreciate your Top Ten Archive - always a great read - and you don't have to make a joke each week. We have Sammy for that. Peaches too. And Joe. I used to think I was a Wit, but my wife said, "well, you're half right".

OLD 55
I've seen worse lists. Considering one of your Noms, Beginnings/Chicago, made #3. I must be one of the few people here who likes the Chicago songs with Peter Cetera on lead vocals ! None with him have made our Tens yet. Their two biggest Pop Hits, 'If You Leave Me Now' and 'Hard To Say I'm Sorry' only polled 27 and 18 points respectively. They'd both be in my Top Songs Of The Seventies List. 'If You Leave Me Now' was #1 for 9 weeks in Australia. :guitar:
