OLD 55
Chris, Albatross is a beautiful instrumental and should be in my Ten (unless 8 that I like better are nominated, plus my two nominations, of course). How about putting a link to it ? It deserves to be heard. ................................................. My Nominations: Layla - Eric Clapton (1992) This is the acoustic solo version by Eric Clapton from the 'Unplugged' Album. More about it in a post below. Love Is All Around - The Troggs (1967) The original version of the Wet, Wet, Wet song used in "Four Weddings And A Funeral". Both are great versions, and quite different. Lucky
Darryl, it was performed by Bill Nighy. It was Christmas, they were changing the lyrics to a cheesy Christmas tune (Christmas is all around) ... he kept screwing it up, and singing "Love is all around"... Remember?? edna
Here are my crappy nominations Two of my fave songs. "IO IO" - The Bee Gees "Everybody knows" - Leonard Cohen I coudn´t find a better video for Leonard Cohen´s song (this is a live version) and the one for the Bee Gees is very bad. OLD 55
Thanks Lucky. Sorry, I can't remember it really. I probably just saw it to please my Wife (although I do like some Chick Flicks). Hugh Grant movies get repeated with monotonous regularity on Oz TV too. I liked "About A Boy" - it was good. ................................................. :guitar:
