Uncle Joe Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Sheesh! You people and your "pants" hangups.
Farin Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Disney Templates According to this video, Disney only ever made one movie, and they've been tracing it ever since.
Farin Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 on June 5, a documentary is going to be released in cinemas and simultaneously in free TV and internet. it's called Home and shows the world from above ("from the viewpoint of the gods" as one commenter described) watch the trailer on youtube I guess the full movie will be shown there too
Kevin Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 This looks like it is gonna be a smash hit : http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/need-to-know-alice-in-wonderland.html
Kevin Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I hope it's good . I guess it's Alice's return to Wonderland years later -and an original script in Burton's hands could go either way , recently . 'Corpse Bride ' and " Charlie and the Chocolate Factory " looked like they could be cool , but were huge disappointments ,imo . Even 'Sweeny Todd ' was only a partial success , but not a film I'd be excited to see again anytime soon . I loved Burton's first efforts, 'Beetleguise ", 'Nightmare ' , 'Edward ', 'Ed Wood ' , 'Mars Attacks ! ', but many stories after or between these seemed to be somehow incomplete or uninspired and simplistic , though they still looked cool . I'll always give a Burton picture a try , though .
TheLizard Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I'm quite excited about the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie. Of course, I love everything Burton has ever done...
Kevin Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 You know , I was just wondering about them all the other day ...
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I want to see this so bad I ache on the inside from it. Where the Wild Things Are
skybluesky Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 5 Badass Movie Characters You Didn't Know Were Real People
MindCrime Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I knew Travis Bickle was based on a real person (most of Scorsese's characters are), also I think Henry Hill (Ray Liotta - Goodfellas) should have been included, but I guess most people knew that was a "based on a true story" movie.
skybluesky Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I wondered if you knew about Travis Bickle MC. I knew about Norman Bates being based on Ed Gein, but none of the others.
RyanTurtle Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 In the first Matrix movie, how did Cypher jack in to meet with Smith? Isn't that at least a two man process?
TheLizard Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Just watching the preview for "Antichrist" disturbed the crap out of me. Which means I have to watch it.
TheLizard Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Going to see "It Might Get Loud" tonight.
skybluesky Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Bring ear plugs....cause, ya know, it might get loud.
berjo1429030949 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 In the first Matrix movie, how did Cypher jack in to meet with Smith? Isn't that at least a two man process? And isn't it always Tank (or whoever) that keeps an eye on everyone who's into the Matrix? Another hole in story.
TheLizard Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 The Men Who Stare At Goats looks hilarious. Jeff Bridges' character seems like what would happen if The Dude joined the army, and I could watch Clooney and Spacey read the phonebook. http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/343634/the_men_who_stare_at_goats_new_trailer.html
BlueAngel Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 ^I admit I'm looking forward to seeing it, if only just for Ewan McGregor.
Farin Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 11 Ingenious Signs On The Simpsons my favourite one is just mentioned, not shown: "Welcome Candy Convention, Room 1! Also, Candy-Shaped Rat Poison Convention, Room 11."
MindCrime Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) The last one is the funniest one if you click on the link for the explanation. I didn't get it at first. Edited November 23, 2009 by Guest
