The Seeker Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Play-off draw in a couple of minutes... and these seedings still p*ss me off. Ukraine, Slovenia, Bosnia and Ireland are the underdogs, and of course they put them in the same group...
The Seeker Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 The results: Ireland -- France Portugal -- Bosnia Greece -- Ukraine Russia -- Slovenia Sh*t. This is a joke... can't have France or Portugal or Russia lose, can we? God forbid they play each other! Well, we nearly defeated the world champion, so beating the vice champion should be a walk in the park, right? D*mn it.
MindCrime Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Did anybody see the 59-0 spanking the Patriots gave the Titans yesterday?

I could have told you the group seedings already... they were compiled of the results against the Top 5 of each group (ie the results against the 6th were cut out, because one group only had 5 teams in them) you can see the ranking here
The Seeker Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Yeah I knew the group seedings too, but they're still stupid.
pinkstones Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Did anybody see the 59-0 spanking the Patriots gave the Titans yesterday? I didn't see it because I can't stand football, but I did hear about it on the news this morning. Apparently they took the feed off TV and switched to another game because the shellacking was so bad.
Uncle Joe Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Worse than that was The Eagles loss to the mighty Oakland Raiders.
TheLizard Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Sorry for your loss, TimLizzy. I'm still pissed.
Shawna Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Did anybody see the 59-0 spanking the Patriots gave the Titans yesterday? I saw that... it was uuuuugly.
Farin Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 anyone else watching Europa League tonight?
BlueAngel Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Everton got quite a beating from SL Benfica: 5-0 with three goals in six minutes, ouch.
c_s_1987 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 An hour ago, Liverpool were playing Sunderland -- a Liverpool kid threw a balloon on the pitch, the ball bounced off it and completely confused the goalkeeper... 1:0 Video Really shouldn't have counted though. I know this is a little old, but I'll give my two cents - that was one of the worst referee/umpire decisions in the history of sport. Where has the common sense in sport gone?
TheLizard Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Notre Dame vs Backup College (Boston College) in 3 1/2 hours! What does every BC student have that every ND student doesn't have? A Notre Dame rejection letter!
The Seeker Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Liverpool -- Man U is on right now... very important match for Liverpool. YNWA is the top trending topic on twitter
Farin Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 wow, that must have been in the very last second - I looked the score up and it was still 1:0 at 90'+4'
BlueAngel Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 ^^Bah, why such hate? Does anyone really want to see Chelsea at the top? On the other hand 2:2 for Arsenal and West Ham, nice comeback for West Ham... a small consolation.
Farin Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 I actually have no idea of the current standings in the league I decide on a game-to-game basis who I'm rooting for and with ManU vs Chelsea I could even be for the former... who knows in case anyone's interested in the German league: Hamburg managed to gamble a 0:2 and 3:2 lead away, so that they couldn't win the top spot... on the other hand: the first four of the league have now 22, 22, 21 and 20 points
The Seeker Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Well if I HAD to choose between Man U and Chelsea, and I'd only do that if someone held a gun to my head, I'd probably pick Man U too... but I really don't want to see either of them win the league again.
