The Songfactors' Choice Top Ten # 10

Recommended Posts

Okay, I respect Simon & Garfunkle, but three times in the Top 10? Let's get some fresh blood in here

Actually they were four times in the Top Ten (but three times on #1). Anyway that's exactly my point, when I said, why I nominated mainly 90's and 00's songs.

Of course what you said about the 80's - It's the same with me, they where my teen years, it shaped me... ;)

They're the 20 songs we nominated in the past 10 Top Tens. Steel2Velvet wants to compare our musical tastes with our nominations and votes, so that we can find our 'musical soulmate'(meaning the Songfactor that has the same musical taste, that you do)

As I mentioned a couple times before, by using data retrieved only by your personal "Top Ten" (this thread here) nominations and votes, I am trying to make a musical compatibitity chart so that you might find which other Songfactor (among those who nominate and vote also) you are most musically related to. It is turning out to be much more complex than I first thought it might be, but I have started to commit time to get it done, and will complete it.

This might be very intriguing or ... it might be nothing at all. However, it will only be accurate if you earnestly nominate and vote for the songs closest to your heart. If your nominations or votes are calculations to "win" a position on the final "Top Ten," you will have skewed data and the resultant compatability chart will reflect that fact.

As CeeCee did on this last cycle, it would be wise to nominate and vote with your eyes closed and hear the music that plays strongest in your heart like a personal anthem of your moods and tastes. That is how to best facilitate locating musical soulmates ... if you would like that. If not, just disregard this message and pick songs you think will win.

Ohh Okay, sounds interesting!

I don't think I have 20 songs to nominate because I haven't nominated a song every week. Should I just nominate however how many songs I have nominated in the past?(14, I believe)

peaches you shock me! that's not something i'd expect you to like

I love that song, Rach. That's why it will be impossible to pick a person who has the same musical taste as I do. I have the most inconsistent musical taste ever.

Peaches,

Why don't you play DJ and let the music flow in your favorite order.

Just as soon as I put them in my favorite order, bluesy, I'll change my mind again. My favorites vary depending on my mood and whichever way the wind is blowing.
