OLD 55
Thanks to all who've voted so far. I've recorded and tallied all 990 Points to date, and with about 60% of the expected votes now in, it's again impossible to predict the Ten. Four songs have polled over 40 Points each, and there's a heap of others in the low 30s, high 20s. Verrry Interesting

OLD 55
No, you didn't have many sad songs CeeCee. They were mostly 'upbeat'. I just didn't want you to be in a sad mood. The old Steel's a smoothie. I'm off to bed now. Goodnight All. Thanks to all who've voted. Would the rest please....

Steel2Velvet
6. Mama Told Me (Not To Come) - Three Dog Night Holt Axton wrote this wonderfully visual song that has some of the best soulful sounds put down by this group. Thanks to OLD55 for correcting me; Hoyt Axton wrote 3DN's classic Joy To The World. This week's nominee was written by Randy Newman. Thanks for watching my back, Fitty. Carl
1) While You See A Chance Because it gets you back on your feet. 2) Hallelujah One of the great Songfacts songs of all time. A novel within a song. 3) Suspicious Minds American Idol lost slabs of credibility when Chris was voted off. 4) Girl From Ipanema Words and music have never flowed together so sweetly. 5) Stay With Me Let's read my pile of poems. 6) Ain't Even Done With The Night Because I can hear Sam Cooke playing on the radio. 7) Oh Well Modern Blues at its best. 8) Rock Lobster This one makes 2 other Top 10s: Most fun song and best bassline. 9) Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You Explosive passion. 10) This Magic Moment Would have scored higher, but wine isn't sweet, or at least shouldn't be.
